UTILIZATION

The neck is super fun to play and not tiring.
Like all Telecaster, I have only one criticism (if you can call it a reproach ...) but the position of the pickup selector is not suitable because if pickstroke a bit wide, each Once I switched back in bridge position ... while I'm neck ... it's just boring to me but also to adapt my game !!!

OVERALL OPINION

It's a cheap guitar, pretty well finished, very comfortable and comes out a real Fender sound. It's a telecaster, no doubt! I tried a Mexican, I have not really heard the dif. Very good quality / price ratio. I especially like the neck pickups. Associated with good reverb is huge. A counselor as well as the more experienced beginners who want to expand their XI guitar sound palette! Accustomed to the metal (Epi LP and LTD in active EMG) I wanted a vintage sounding guitar, it can also do the trick for the edgy rock but it's clean / slight crunch it really gives. OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar since February 2014 and I'm not disappointed.

After purchase, I immediately sent it to a luthier to touch me the following (and especially the set):

- Pontet
- Input jack on guitar (the famous decision that fender telecaster & still unable to produce without it shit)
- Settings strings (height)
- General settings

after consulting the latter, he made it clear to me that the bridges were not really viable in the long term (striped jumper, 2 strings by jumpers). Accordingly they have been replaced by bridges brass.

The latter, however, were surprised by the violin guitar for the price.

once set, it is a treat to play.

Level strings, I recommend placing the guitar on the 10-46 (custom light) to a minimum because pulling installed by default is really light soft sounds ...

Guitar made in China with a standard color chrome Squier bridge, a rosewood fretboard 21 frets, a pickup selector, volume control and tone control, two microphones former model. A beautiful replica of the Fender Telecaster 51.

UTILIZATION

The handle is very comfortable and ergonomic. The guitar is a bit heavy but we have to expect that since it is a replica of Fender Telecaster 1951. The sound really remember a time when the last cargo is easily accessible and strings stretch well at the "bends".

SOUNDS

Regarding the original pickups, the sound is perfect for blues, country, jazz, funk, reggae and rock. Its clear, the sound of the neck pickup is well suited to the jazz. That of the lens is sharp, perfect for country and funk. With distortion, the neck pickup sounds pretty good and acute recalls his rock'n'roll 50s. In combination, the two microphones blend perfectly in harmony. On harmonics, however, they are not clear with the micro bass. If the switch is in the middle position or treble, it's perfect. As the micro are single coil in distortion there may be background noise (this is normal). Recently I changed my pickups for USA Vintage Noiseless and the result is impressive. Now I would not trade my guitar against a USA! The Noiseless greatly reduce background noise and distortion can be eliminated by playing with the adjustment frequency of the amplifier. I think she has nothing to envy to an American Telecaster. The neck is perfectly straight and that even with changes in temperature and humidity.

OVERALL OPINION

I use this guitar for a few months. Having tried many guitars in the Fender American brand, the Gibson, Ibanez, etc. I found that when an American Squier equal better quality microphones are added. With my years of experience, I would recommend this guitar to both beginners and professionals. It is solid, sturdy, ready to go through the ages. Handle very end, good action, 21 medium jumbo frets 9.5 radius, beautiful rosewood, is straight, short, the top in the field, for me all the specs that I prefer.

I play this guitar in my favorite amp, a fender deluxe reverb RI 65 with a TS 808 to the crunch, the result is this beautiful blues sound "gringo", slightly hoarse and muddy, we hear about most records of the 60s.
The finishes are excellent, no default assembly or varnish.
The guitar was very well set already in stores.

UTILIZATION

I play blues, rock, jazz simplified (jazz blue), reggae, soul and funk.
The guitar is top in all the registry and I do not want to change the pickups and yet I in résevre: a fender "handle" from a Baja (those sound strat ...) and a seymour duncan vintage broadcaster, well for now I expected because I did not feel the need.
These pickups are warm and crystalline and not-for sour at all, we could just blame their lack of power, but they are not in power, they do so in musicality ...
At the same time, the deluxe reverb is such a good amp that easily honors guitars even mean we say.

OVERALL OPINION

This is my second telecaster, I tried a little to make me an opinion on the "Squier everyone is talking about ..." and I was blown away by the quality of the instrument and the sounds produced, in the case of the 62 Telecaster Custom, there are wholes sound "soul" of STAX records (steve Cropper comes to mind ... ), perfect for blues, rhytm and blues and reggae, this is a guitar nénamoins character in this immediately issue: the typical twang of 60 years.

UTILIZATION

Handle very pleasant, easy to play once set.
Ergonomics are good, unlike the classic 50 (strato) I found a little light really found the weight and ergonomics of a TV.

The sound is really cool, velvety from slamming to. But it's still squier pickups, with a violin as close to perfection, I think changing the pickups to get the best.

OVERALL OPINION

I for 1 month.
I tried (and I have) many guitars. I bought it because the value for money is unbeatable. Frankly speaking, there is no point in buying a Us at 1200 € for 500 when it was a telecaster of madness (350 + an upgrade guitar pickups).
And even this is a guitar closer to the spirit than any Fender Fender! Why? Basically a telecaster cost $ 175, and a cheap guitar sound that allowed everyone to play. This is exactly what we have here.

This is my second classic vibe (with JB), the series is really excellent and, oh yes, that choice I will ever again!

Nice guitar, certainly Asian, but the violin is quite amazing, and meem better bill than the Mexican affordable.

UTILIZATION

I was focusing on a Mexican TV at first, but if you're not Bill Gates or a lot of snobbery in sore music, impossible to acquérie this type of guitar in a correct range, new Mexican range are crap.

I was at my local music shop. Recently Fender has started re-releasing many of their classic guitars, but 3 or 4 years ago it was just your standard Strat or Tele. I remember seeing pictures of Keith Richards playing a black double humbucker Tele with a maple neck. Between that imagine and the fact that it could to a bright and chunky sound had me walking this guitar up to the register. It was $259.

It has 4 knobs and a 3-way switch. The knobs are a volume and tone for each of the humbuckers. Mid into my Tom Morello phase, I leaned you could turn down the volume of the neck or the bridge pickup and toggle the switch back and forth for a funky tremelo tone.

The guitar has a subtle metallic flake in the pickguard. Hey, it looks cool.

None. After a pro setup I had this thing playing and sounding great. If I were to do any upgrades, I get new saddles, bridge pickup and tuners, but no complaints.

The body is Agathis, the neck is Maple. The fretboard is also maple. I had one rough fret edge filed down, but can't complain, it's a $250 guitar!

The neck is smooth and is similar to a standard Telecaster neck.

A guitar that can twang and crunch in one package. The dual tone knobs really allow you to dial in versatility.

A nice little Chinese with a mouth of hell.
Very realistic copy of the Fender Telecaster Custom 60s. Only the truss-rod adjustment and brand Squier betray the cause of the girl.
Out of curiosity, I looked under the plate and knobs, everything is screened, and the welds are very clean.
In comparison, my American Standard Stratocaster was not ... grrrr ...
The bridge could be replaced. Vala is the only part that I could change the rest ... uh, no, not necessary. Or, I change my fingers!

UTILIZATION

Rating: 7 (it's a TV, are more comfortable, you know)
Channel rather late, modern, fun. A shame, I prefer the vintage pick handles. But it's not bad at all like that.
The rest ... it's a tele! Therefore, access to acute rather sucks, it is rather heavy, and scratching the back of the cut ribs.

It is surprisingly punchy, just enough.
A micro serious is serious but clear, quite usable.
A microphone is acute but not too sharp, very dynamic.
Add to that the volume and tone knobs very progressive.
All this in clean, crunch, or full. No worry!

I play simulation Line 6 and a VOX Valvetronix XL (one designed for the sounds of big nag!)
Played on stage with Marshall amps at comfortable volume was excellent.

I tried the most expensive since and below € 1,200, it's disappointing.
Fender pure product marketing, he plays on the reputation, legend and history. But it's not what makes the guitars sound good.
Is better to buy a G & L or Blade and there you will not have the legend, but thee's a really good guitar.
I will not repeat that choice, so much that I bought a Blade.

This is a chinese made tele, however they've limited the run so that each one that's made is more focused and not so mass produced, thus the quality of these guitars is superior and meant to be on par with american made guitars.

UTILIZATION

Pretty nice, surprisingly very very light too, and I've tried a few models, all of them are quite light, I likey!

upper fret access is not what the tele's about so if you want to spend most of your time there you won't enjoy it. The ergonmics aren't there either, the tele was the first electric guitar type to be made thus the ergonomics weren't thought about the first round.

Generally it's just like your typical 21 fret tele with the 2 pickups and a 3 way.



SOUNDS

For a tele, it sounds like a tele. Damn good. Clean, bright, twangy, all that country twang you'd ever want is in this tele.

The stock pickups are amazingly clean and deliver it! Classic signature tele sound!

You want another type of sound you'd better start looking into aftermarket pickups, but as is, and what it's originally designed for, it gets the job done for anybody wanting to play clean/blues/jazz/country stuff definitely!

OVERALL OPINION

I think this series was underrated! Definitely! Maybe because the options were so limited? Only 3 finishes, with specific neck woods etc. The 21 fret thing always kills me with fender guitars I never knew why they did that, it's just so uneven and I'd always feel better with at least a 22 fret neck.

The quality is great though, the build is good, every one of these I've seen has been really consistent, the fretwork is VERY good, the neck is perfect, the finish is great and I see no flaws with the binding anywhere on the body.

And it's light weight. What more does anybody need? I actually think these are better than any of the mexican stuff coming out of the factory. It just seems to have been thought out more, with more effort put into these models. I guess the pickups are what would be lacking but even in that department it's quite decent. Not super versatile for every kind of genre, but definitely good for the genres mentioned previously. Of course, they're not noiseless, cause then THAT'D be too good to be true.
