Copy of the TV 52 '. Chinese-made but developed by T. Wilkinson.
Some finishes can be improved, mainly as regards the varnish: at the junction body / handle a game is chipped, and the presence of a small thickness at the head.
That said, for the price we can say that this is very correct.
The acastillage Wilkinson is signed which is rather reassuring.
Here are the specs taken from the English site JHS.

UTILIZATION

The handle is a treat for my part, because relatively late.
Despite the veneer, it glides quite well.
For the rest, it's like a TV: ergonomics is not necessarily optimal (in ribs when playing seated).
The potentiometers are progressive, despite the low price, and the pickups are pretty amazing: I thought I should change those parts, but ultimately I think I'll leave. To see in time ...

SOUNDS

The specific sounds and features of the TV are met: I think it is very close to the spirit of his model.
His typed jazz neck pickup and distinctive blues / rock bridge.
After, I have not actually compared with a "real" TV, and even less on the same amp so I can not argue more.
Personally, I use a Roland Cube 30X relatively versatile.
The sounds are respected as the microphones on the other guitar Vintage (Type Start.) I have: blues, jazz, rock ...
Try it as soon as possible on a tube amp.

OVERALL OPINION

I have been using just a few weeks.
I have not tried more than that of models, to me it seemed inevitable having a guitar of this type in my "collection": it is a landmark in the history of the guitar, right? And I love her very particular "TV".
For budget reasons I turned around copies of this model, and I must say that products from Vintage appear on the whole very interesting, even more with prices across the Channel.
I find the price / quality ratio surprising: 235 € (on DV ... with shipping included ...) I think is fairly ridiculous ... In France it is a bit more expensive (270 €) but it is still very attractive.
Apart from some details of finishes, I think it is definitely a match for Squier and perhaps some Fender (outside the U.S. of course ...): I think, essential to try before buying ...
