I purchased the LC2412 to use for a small lighting setup for my regional sound co. I would never depend on Behringer audio gear for a pro situation and should not have depended on this either. The console was not user friendly but after the hurdles of programming the console worked fine until after about 6 shows. Right before a show, the console would no longer output DMX. Fortunately I had a computer/entec backup to get through the show or it would have been in the dark. We hooked the console back up at the shop but it would not work. It was a little out of the one year warranty period and I emailed customer support but they never replied. I now pretty much consider all their stuff to be toys.

I've had two days.
This is my first console lighting, being a complete novice in this field. I am a musician, and I needed a small console too expensive and not efficient enough for concerts, but also to enliven the evening in small mobile disco.
In informing me here and there on the net, I focused on this model that offers a lot of opportunities to start, especially since I discovered it reinstated broadly the features and how to work of another famous console, the Lightcommander 12/2 home MAlighting. FYI, it may be nice to have the manual of the latter (found in VF on the net), including an understanding of some principles of operation of this type of console and other features, the two books are complementary.

After a brief introduction to DMX (thanks to the file on the subject of Audiofanzine) which is really not complicated to understand, with this console, so I could drive my 12 LED PAR to easily. Remains then to dip the principles of stage lighting, making it easier to exploit this console.

I came across the manual for the MA Lighting Lightcommander 12 / 2 which served as Behringer MODEL to design the Eurolight LC2412. This manual is much more oriented towards the user with paragraphs full of tips to learn how to handle the BCAN. "Train you to use the features above Describes

Then I bought the console Eurolight LC2412 and did a lot of manipulations by following the book literally. I finally understand. It took even when I repeated the manipulations several days for connatre well.

For this first concert, I plugged the projector (9 PC1000 white to the front and 5 + 10 PAR64 PAR56 rpart in 3 colors cons) of Manir appropriate block on my power to ensure that faders of the top of the console are a logical order:

It's a great console that I used for two years to make my first steps in lighting, as well as for theatrical music concerts with conventional projectors. It offers value for money very interesting. Faders (trimmer) are very precise and quality. It offers many features memory recording and reproduction, including chases: 120 scenes (12x10 pages), chase each with up to 650 steps. It is modeled on Lightcommander Ma Lighting that some may be familiar with and offers 12 channels expandable to 24 assignable to 512 DMX channels. Very intuitive to use with two special keys for controlling a machine or smoke color changers. This console is used in DMX mode or 0-10V.
I'm now a 24/48 console channels and also uses brackets for projectors automated console but I recommend this for beginners or small budgets.

I regret: no go button, memory work with the sliders, as sub, while the chases can be called from the menu, no recording speed chases, they are settled directly with a fader, not tap a button to synchronize chases, the circuits 13 to 24 are accessible from a shift button that makes the challenge to manage 24 channels simultaneously (I bypassed the problem with subs) and sometimes causes bugs (management htp)

the only worries I had just the internal battery that did not like the lamp that I was putting him on the BNC, it has discharged it creates a bug in the ignition.

considering the price, I would not hesitate to repeat the purchase if you went back in time ...
