I am not a pro and do not know how to describe this pedal.
it is possible to use the stereo (pan) but I do not have do.
I only use the tremolo and I'm really happy.

UTILIZATION

I do not use the lot. but once it clicks sends the small
one can find a tremolo or finesse then the big tremolo to tarantino if I can afford lol.
I'm still barouder with Madame and ensures perfection today.

I never bought another tremolo because every time I was disappointed by the others ...
but hey I think that after a little over a decade in its ratings I'm not really objective

SOUND QUALITY

really a lot of possibilities of big tremolo or any discretion it is malleable enough anyway.
I am delighted but hey I'm no expert in tremolo but it suits me perfectly.

OVERALL OPINION

I've never left and I do not use the much either, it's still a tremolo ...
but good for the demand effect and the price I'd pay at the age I am fully satisfied!
I can not give a full review on this pedal because I did not use all the functionalities that can be come one day ...
Brief strong, a lot of possibilities for a tremolo, I recommend and even sign for 10yrs!

The Boss PN 2 Tremolo is a super small tremolo pedal suitable for use with all electronic instruments but designed for electric guitar. The pedal is an analog one, consisting of 1/4" jacks for input and output and runs of a standard nine volt power supply. The pedal is definitely smaller than any pedal I've seen out there other than other pedals made by Boss .


UTILIZATION

There's not much at all to using the Boss PN 2 pedal. It only has two parameters for speed and depth, which is a pretty standard make up for tremolo pedals and are the same parameters you'll find on Fender amps for the same effect. The pedal probably isn't big enough to hold any more parameters anyway!


SOUND QUALITY

The Boss PN 2 definitely gives you that classic tremolo sound much like that found on vintage Fender amplifiers. You don't need to do much at all in order to get a good sound from the pedal, which is one of my favorite aspects of the pedal. You control it to get the sound you want from it rather than controlling it to get a good sound from it, if you know what I mean. I've used the pedal with a Fender Telecaster and I don't remember the amp, although it was obviously not a Fender since we were using a tremolo pedal.


OVERALL OPINION

While not the most versatile tremolo pedal out there, it really doesn't matter too much as the Boss PN 2 has a great overall sound. I also love how small this pedal is as it makes it easy to bring around if necessary. It's also the cheapest pedal in this line of pedals from Boss PN 2 at $100 US dollars. There are definitely cheaper and more versatile tremolo pedals out there, but this one has a great sound that is hard to beat, even if it's not a open to manipulation as others out there. I'd recommend checking out this pedal and the others in this super small line of pedals for sure!

UTILIZATION

SOUND QUALITY

Excellent tremolo, its clear from the trs rglages, we get a lightweight or trmolo trs deep. There is no SETTING THE volume but it is useless because the level is the same effect on or off (although sr, if the RULES of the square wave tremolo Basically, you feel a diffrence but that's normal volume, the volume of tremolo playing ...!).
I noticed the same thing on other trmolo.
The Pn 2 fully respects the sound of the guitar tremolo donneun clear prcis trs.
With a guitar with double or single, it's perfect for both!

OVERALL OPINION

I have since ... 15 years.
The tremolo effect is the most well INTERESTED sr.
The panomtre allows for the effect trmolo in Stereo, namely, a right once, left once. the effect is INTERESTED in recording or used trs brive if a shot has left jab, and rushes to the toilet, the effect is the same as if it was too difficult or bu ... (As with a rotary ...).
I tried a Fender tremolo, Schaller's an era (there are about fifteen years, we did not find much in trmolo pedals ...). Since then, I tried the new version of Boss, the TR2, which is not bad, as the Nobels but the sound is not as clear as the PN2.
Apparently, prices are rising for that purpose (I'd pay 600 francs, 90 euros) but That was in 1990 ... 16 years later it is normal that the price has increased so much that the effect is excellent, really diffrent new version of the Boss.
The ct "PDAL rare" plays now is an excellent effect, we must see if you really useful and in this case, INTERESTED, because of occasion he rating quite expensive.
I would do without this choice because the sound is hsit trs clear, rglages are sensitive and give more possibilities but it is especially the respect of the original sound is important. Boss came out with PN 2 tremolo/Pan pedal back in May of 1990 this was an interesting pedal at the time because it had a variation of different tremolo features. The original design had a pulsating speaker affect where this one has much more control over the overall painting mode.

With the Boss PN2 you has a rate and depth control knobs as well as a mode control which gives you for the mode operations. These modes consist of a pan in sawtooth, and square, a trim sawtooth or a tremolo squared wave. This will give you a variance in the tremolo feel and the way it round itself off as you play. This allows for a lot easier oscillation as well as the rhythmic tremolo to your's specific needs.

SOUND QUALITY


This pedal has a cool sound and really just emulates whatever your guitar sound is. So there's not a whole lot of modulation involved but you get more of how much tremolo or how little of the effect actually happens. This pedal sounds good when you are playing with a clean sitting in a cleaning up such as a Fender amp. You can get a good classic rock bluesy tone or even a good surf music style guitar tone with it .

This tremolo pedal also work very well with a high gain amplifier setting as well. They have to be used in middle you sometimes because this effect can be over dramatic and a little redundant sometimes. So I would say use it in certain situations and not really all the time.

OVERALL OPINION

This pedal was made for only five years and stopped manufacturing in March of 1995. You can find it easily on the used market because boss saturated the market with these pedals. I've seen them right around hundred dollars yourself. If they're in a better condition sometimes they fetch maybe $140. They're cool pedal and if you really like tremolo then there cool I don't have on your pedal board. Other than that if your not to use it that much and I would suggest buying this battle because it does degree your guitar signal because it is not true bypass.

The Boss PN-2 is a tremolo pedal as well as a stereo panner. You need to set it up with two amps to use the panner. It is an analog effect and has stereo outputs and stereo inputs in the form of 1/4 inch jacks. It is a stomp box and is not rackable.

UTILIZATION

The configuration of the PN-2 is very easy to follow. It has three knobs - one to set the mode to either tremolo or pan and each of those has 2 waveform modes, another to set the depth and another to set the rate. It is very easy to get a great sounding tremolo effect from this pedal. I bought this pedal used (for only $20 US dollars! what a steal...) and it didn't come with a manual, so I can't say if it is useful or not.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of the tremolo effect is top notch. I have used it mostly with electric guitar, but have also used it with a synthesizer. It sounds great with both. In fact, this pedal sounds as good as any tremolo sound I've ever heard. It sounds very authentic and rich in tone.

OVERALL OPINION

I've had my PN-2 for about two years. I love using this electric guitar as it provides me with a great tremolo sound when I need it. I haven't used the panner too much as I mostly use it as a trem. To compare, this comes very close in comparison to the tremolo effect I have on my '76 Fender Twin Reverb. I like this pedal better than the Boss TR-2 which is the tremolo pedal they make now, as I think this one is more authentic sounding. The price varies as Boss no longer makes these pedals and they are hard to find. While I got a steal on this pedal, it can cost up to around $175-$200 US. However, it is a great sounding pedal and definitley worth picking one up if you are looking for a tremolo pedal and can find a good deal on one.
