Always known Carlsbro to do cheaper sounding amps, I've been told they're no longer manufactured in Britain.
This had promises of an alternative to a Vox AC15 or 'British Tweed Amp' - clean tone to classic rock breakup as gain reaches full.
This was no lie. The amp has glassy smooth harmonics on all ends of the gain knob, the reverb works perfectly with the sound and the Celestion Greenback actually sounds really cool (I'm a V-Type or Vintage 30 person usually).
For the price difference, the extra controls, fx loop and speaker extension factor. I'd say this thing is a good little find. It loves fx pedals too.
