Value For Money :
Excellent
- What type of amplification (lamp, transistor ,...)?
transistor amplifier
- What is the power delivered?
30 watts rms with HP custom crate of 10 4 ohms
- What connection? output guitar facade, and a headphone jack to an MP3 and an output Supp HP (which cuts the crate HP) plus a footswitch output
- What are the settings, effects ...?
2-channel equalizer with a low, mid bass) on the clean channel and a gain, volume and shape (to set the tone and move from overdrive to distortion wholesale) for the channel solo
Followed by 16 effects (4 reverbs, delays 3, a double, an octave, 2 auto wah, rotary, two choruses and two flangers)
Technology flexwave crate with a simulated tube amp and a tuner handy
I put 8 because there is no equalizer on the channel solo
UTILIZATION
- The configuration is simple?
use very simple not even need the manual provides for quick sound (in any case seen the 7 man pages ^ ^)
- Do you get easily a good sound?
yes and very soon
- The manual is clear and sufficient?
not need manual, but otherwise it is clear and cons provides little explanation
SOUNDS
- Will it fit your style of music?
I play everything and it is very suitable for almost any style but it can be a bit feeble on the metal if it has no distortion at hand, otherwise very good for blues and rock of the 70's. According to jazz I have no idea I do not listen and did not practice this style.
- With what (s) guitar (s) / low (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I played with a white Hagstrom Swede and a boss ME20
- What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "fat ",....)?
channel is very nice solo into overdrive and is really good for blues, blues rock, I like less when you push the bottom shape because I find that the sound becomes cold. Clear Channel is very nice, and arpeggios sound good.
Special mention for the reverb is very good and I find that self wah!
cons by some other effects have almost no interest or are downright unusable because there is only one level of command to resolve
8 because of the shape and some effects
OVERALL OPINION
- For how long have you been using it?
I had this amp for my birthday two years there and I do not regret that choice.
- What thing do you like most/least about it?
After using a battery behind I found myself ac a breath of important HP! attention to this. I do not know if it's a pb of this model or series, because I have no holes owner, or other reviews of this crate. (I am considering a change in HP so I like the sound of this amp to give you an idea)
Otherwise I love the solo channel mode Overd and the overall sound of this amp, power strong enough to jam an ac battery, a small concert or repeat them at home and especially the reverb.
- Did you try many other models before getting this one?
I try marshall dfx30 I typed too found a fender g25 that I found too soft or a line6, very good in the effects but I did not like
- What is your opinion about the value for the price?
very good value for money
- Knowing what you know now, would you make the same choice?
yes I would do this chosen without hesitation but I would buy it other than Bauer orleans opas who has wanted to resume the HP pr change one month after the end of the warranty.
if I change, it will be for an amp to almpe and I do not even think of selling it somewhere else, j'acquererais only other amp (it's nice to dream)
I put the DB 9 for HP
