I have been playing for 20 years. Music style varies from classic rock, surf to bluegrass. I play an American Standard Stratocaster.

I acquired the unit from Blues Angel in Pensacola, FL for $650. The amp seemed to take care of all my needs. Silky smooth clean to off the charts high gain. I did not know that I would fall in love with this amp when I purchased it.

The amps tone is very memorable for tube amp junkies; it is an all tube amp (i.e. rectifier, reverb). Very powerful 30-60 true watts yet it is compact. Effects loop, and two channels make this amp a very versatile.

Nothing after I performed the channel switching mod. The modification notes are available on the internet...Other mods are also available but I have not performed them. Most of the amp is hand wired with the exception of two small circuit cards. I do wish the amp was full point to point wiring.

Cream of the crop. Awesome speakers!

Bottom line: look for a reissue a in years to come. Add a vintage Fender reverb unit, and a bassman cabinet and change the chicken head knobs to vintage white and you will have an awesome rig.

This amp is definitely a keeper. Perfect gig amp, no matter what your style.

Thinking about closing the back of it for that deeper frequency.



It needs a preamp out.

Low end gets sucked out a bit when you kick in the dirty channel ( typical of amps and pedals, though).

Floor pedal is chincy. Replace with heavy duty one.

Top notch.

While they no longer make these as of recent ( 2004), they're a perfect gigster amp.

SOUNDS

OVERALL OPINION

Trs amp versatile, powerful (more than enough on stage) and compact.

Faade: Input 1 and 2 (Hi and Low) volume (light), gain 1 and gain 2 (distortion), bass, middle, treble, master (distortion), reverb (spring)

Rear: Power, Standby, Rectifier (Class A, Class AB, Class SS), Send and Return (loop SERIES therefore no mixing), external speaker output (16 ohms min I think), footswitch jack (supplied) .

All-tube amp to give a power of 60 W RMS. We are not in the first clashes with the bte ...

2 HP 10, Obviously a change of 12 or so of 2X12 rpendu but the violin of the amp (the choice and assembly of wood, half opening the rear of the HP ... ) optimizes both these two 10 inch celestion home. The sound is prcis balance.

In transport, it is heavy, heavy trs !!!!! P. ... ain that is heavy!

UTILIZATION

Under its faade, the grip is childish.

The volume of the clean channel acts as a master volume. It is difficult to trs cruncher this channel (watch your ears). The Fender clean to make it clear sound person. Mission accomplished, no need to say more. If we add a bit of reverb, a walk alone.

In distortion, you can play on two gains. The first is the gain of (the more you open it, a more saturated), the second acts as a compressor + prsence (it increases the gain 1 is added sustain and grain)

The legalization is "active" that each frquence (bass, middle, treble) is as a gain by itself, if they are cut, nothing out of the pramplification. Utility: you can choose to play on a normal legalization with frquences + / - around 5 and we will not draw too much on the volume and master (clear and saturated. Also, if you fall the rglages frquences of around 1 or 2 at most, it opens a lot more volume and master and is transferred directly in a more roots and vintage. ... Try it

SOUNDS

It's powerful, powerful trs! It can rev up quickly in the low (despite 2 HP 10) depending on the guitar that is used. Be careful to note your presets in concert if you use multiple guitars ...

The light works miracles on simple like double coils and is exploitable in any register for that added bit of quality effects. For my part, clear + channel + Start a rotosphere an H & K (simulation Lesly) and admont all ...

Saturation ... On this channel you get your crunch, overdrive your rock n'roll or fawn carrment large Satus full of harmonics. For those who wish, by adding a good 2 X 12, it was really the feeling of playing on a Stack.

Remember that the amp is trsractif is why the rglages are basic, so you play on the volume and tone of your guitar. OVERALL OPINION

It's been 5 years and I'm not ja'rrive dfaire. I really wanted to change for other good amps (over rglages, more channels ...) but I still go around Russi.

We can sculpt will with "good" effects (I emphasize good effects) without erasing the personality of the amp and guitar. Do not hesitate to invest in a good cblage as it is powerful and can be trs trs soon have background noise.

5 years ago, I got it for 12,000 francs, I do not regret at all. Now Fender has stopped producing the Prosonic (there are days I wonder ....!).

If you come across a secondhand guitar in a shop, but try not 2 minutes with the gain merits, would be a DMAG ...

Class A all-tube amp

60 Watts of power efficient trs. (The Prosonic, it sends serious!)
For the rear knob, you can correct the action of the lights and get a vintage plutt or ultra modern. Effects loop. Output for an external HP. Footswtich provided!
At the front: clear channel and a channel saturated.
EQ common, but two SETTING THE gain for channel 2. Can be obtained by the first gain knob a distortion trs powerful, rich in harmonics. The second knob adds gain more fat, fairly smooth ax on blues music.

OVERALL OPINION

I used four years before I Sparer ENTSO great. Its small size combines incredible power makes it the partner IDAL for guitarists who want dplacent often and the sound without buying a Van or break the back essyant back in his Marshall Fiat Uno! (But no, I have nothing against Fiat Uno ...).
Try an emergency, but a Fender, I think, stops the production because the Prosonic has not sold. Another enigma! Again, this may be the price lev (around 2000 euros nine). In my case, the Prosonic remains with the Sunn Model T (then the prcieusement I keep mine, do not insist it is not to sell !!!), one of the very best amp light these last years. (By the way, if you want to have news on the Sunn Model T - or if you've never heard of the guy - will soon see the advice I rdig!)

If by the merest chance you meet the Prosonic in a store, ask the seller an absolute test, yes, yes, I insist!
