Tube amp (3 + 2 6L6 12AX7), 40W (real, very powerful!), Minimal connectivity (Supp HP, IN / OUT, an input low normal + 1 (-6dB). I put 10, s even 'There is only equal, not a pb
The HP is a Jensen C12N (expo is a model that sat well)
The weight is correct (about 20kg) for a tube amp, there is frankly worse.
The reverb is good.

UTILIZATION

Configuration very simple, one leg (single or double) and it sounds. The manual is not helpful. Do not push the reverb, otherwise, it becomes invasive.

SOUNDS

I play blues / rock / jazz is the sound I want.
I use a Stratocaster american deluxe (with the switch S1) and a Yamaha SG1000 (very Lespaul in a spirit) that I plugged into the low input (-6BD) I think you better control the sound as well. I plug my guitar as top electro acoustic (low input, too), I found rendering excellent (attention to feedback).
I use several effects that go very well with 2 overdrives that have an excellent record with this setup (Mojo GTO for light crunch and Fulltone OCD for a range of sounds from crunch has some chode more saturated). I add a compressor as needed (Maxon RPC660), which gives a result that I find fabulous (and her sweet sustain).
I use just the canal drive, never drive more. I play with sounds as clear as moderately saturated (very rarely large loadings).
I changed the lamps in the preamp (V1: EH 12AX7, V2: JJ ECC83, V3: EH 12AT7) and as reported in an earlier opinion, AC added significantly to the quality of sound.
Overall, in styles that I play in the clear (with its giant strat!) As saturated, I think this amp is a real treat. I put 9 because even when the channel is saturated a bit dirty.
EDIT: I changed the lamps in the preamp as follows:
V1 & V2: JJ ECC83
Philips 12AT7 V3
It's even better than the above combination, the Philips gives a more creamy.

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for almost a year. There is no particular point that displeases me, to my level and the styles that I play, this amp suits me perfectly.
I tried many amps before this purchase but even at the trial, I was captivated by this amp. There is a personality in the sound that suits me, but I put 9 because Fender could make an effort on the lights and the original HP model for Eminence that I tried too and that seemed a tad removal.
The price / quality ratio seems unbeatable to me (it was a demo almost new amp which had a lounge, fitted in with the Jensen and 5-year warranty for 650 €)
Yes, I think I would do this choice in this range of amplifiers.
Note that for organizational reasons, I recently bought another amp but smaller (Fender Blues Junior, a good OCCAZ too) is also excellent, but it remains below the HRD.
