50W tube amp.
I understood that there was quite a guitarist who used back on stage.
It is certainly a 50W lamp but so powerful

UTILIZATION

The sound is great especially after having allowed to heat for a good half hour.
Whenever it plays I am surprised with the quality of sound. clear and saturates

SOUNDS

I play all styles above. Rock, Hard rock, funk.
The sound is typical saturates the JCM800 preamp with rule 3/4 saturation is beautiful and critalline, bubbles, but not too much. No effect that I tried to date happens to reproduce this saturation.
The sound is clear and slamming wish for funk rhythm.

OVERALL OPINION

I have since 1988.
I na'i not try many amps, but because the one is perfect I have not seen the usefulness me to try another.

The + is ca Simplicie use and time adjustment / sound quality report.
There are only very few pots, preamp, volume, bass, mid, treble, presence, and two entrees
Low and High.

The - is that to go from one channel to another (light saturated) must unplug the jack and plug it into the desired entry.

All Tube Amp! 3 ECC83 preamp and 2 EL34 in power.

Tration and officially 50W. But the power of all-tube amp is no longer admontrer because the big 50 Watt are stronger!

- What are the rglages the effects? ...
Single-channel type. 2 input jacks (high and low). The settings are minimalist or rather "just right", preamp volume, master volume (general), Aquamarine, Meduim, bass, presence. After it has pedals to speak freely and you choose the set of effects that suits you better now .. The amp has no effects. It allows more of forging a sound!

Advantage: The comprehensive selection of effects! Pure sound.

Levels guitars, I use a Fender Start typ 60 ', a Fender Telecaster 50' with Bigsby, an Epiphone LP Jr., and I used to pass an Epiphone SG400 Epiphone LP and trying a more than 97 Std 'from a friend .. I use it mainly for a clean sound that saturates the trs slightly with the sound of my fender, just makes me crazy! The real sound and its legendere marshall is in your ears! There's no quibbling, and those who do not like marshall are saying always the same after listening to the sound of this amp! Nothing to do with the other series JCM are not too bad, and really have nothing to do all the other Marshall General (MG series, Valvestate ...)
I want to stress that the sound is almost similar to see what bringing a lot of JMP, Silver Jubilee 2550 and other models of the genre.

Yes .. Finally, many depent ca! But I always RVer to acquire a JCM800 and this beautiful OCCAZ 'showed up I jumped on it!

- How do you report qualitprix?
Well, it enormously depent of who sells it! ... As this amp is available as a OCCAZ 'ca depent therefore the selling price. I pay 400 and in this case, the report price Excellent quality .. However from a 700 it becomes very expensive!

- With the exprience, you do again this choice? ...

Lamps of Origin: 3 ECC83 preamp and 2 EL34 in power
Hp: Rola Celestion G12-65 for older G12M70 for Newest.

Single channel amp with two inputs: a LOW (Clean) and HIGH (crunch)
Two parallel hp output, impedance selector (4-8-16 Ohm)
Level settings: preamp volume and master volume, three band eq (treble, middle, bass) + presence
No effects, no effects loop (-> Other series have jcm 800)

UTILIZATION

Super simple setup and use.
You branch and you got the sound ... but the type of guitar greatly affects the sound (I have a Squier Start which sounds great but with a les paul or sg sound will be much better because the amp has restored 100% the sound of your scratch)
No need for manual ...

SOUNDS

The clean (low) with a good crunch when it is cranked. It's not a Fender but not buy a Marshall for clean sound in general.

Note the absence of effects loop. Too bad.
So it makes us 6 knobs, it's enough knowing that the goal of the game is to put at least 4 (this is its weakness: the sound is good and the settings effective only from the threshold).
On the back: 2 HP, power supply, impedance (ohms 4,8,16), and current setting by country.
The whole thing is really heavy: 25kilos I think it's strong!
So I put 8 because of the history of the volume and effects loop.

UTILIZATION

Simplicime configuration.
For audio, from four (again ^ ^) we get different knobs sonoritées with an amp but it really very typical and these settings do not change fundamentally sound. It's still very very marshall, jcm 800 is the normal: the holy grail.
I had no manual when I bought second-hand '. No need to be really limited to not understand.

What a potato! What grain! It drool at will!
I use a les paul, and there is much less versatile but it is on What's Bondiou! It's really rock (no need to quote the famous guitarist playing on it ...).
The dynamics are outstanding, many medium (this is true it's not a myth) and harmonics are truly great.
The level of gain is not huge, but who cares it all pete (ok it's not that the arguments).
Personally I put the preamp to 8, the master at 6, and the rest to the bottom most of the time.
The notes come off well in rhythm it's still sketchy, it is a jcm 800 what, you love it or hate it but let the "Marchemall" or "yeah mesa c too are many better and more buttons." NO, Mesa's different, like Fender and Vox others.
Each brand has its signature sound.
The JCM 800 sound good vintage, it does not at all the same grain as the more recent series like jcm 2000 and for the Vintage Modern I never tried.
We can go from clean to crunch to overdrive trend not only with the knob of the guitar, it's magic (this entry on HIGH, LOW in clean and clean c frankly I find effete)

OVERALL OPINION

I use it for six months, I like it more and more ...
I try fender twin, B52, Vox AC 100, and a jcm 800 100 watt lead was not the same grain (this model has 2 overdrive channels and the channel has more gain than mine).
The value for money is excellent: I bought 700 euros and heads mesa or orange to 3000 euros do not sound better (my opinion).
