I doubt that this is still need for the C30, so this combo is one of the "classic" category combo lamps at reasonable prices.

However, I invite you to read the previous reviews if you do not know.

UTILIZATION

Combo intuitive correction EQ efficient, correct spring reverb all for a reasonable weight.
Note that the recent series feature a grille lamps which was (sadly) lacking in previous models and penalized transport.
Power is more than enough to stand up to a drummer excited and can also get angry very quickly with all the people in your building.
Personally I find it a bit too powerful for small rooms or bars and the volume culminates at around 2.5 / 3 if the group does not nag too.
It has a good power reserve in the clear because it is difficult to do cruncher on the clean channel.

SOUNDS

It is ideally suited to blues and rock with its vintage, yet relatively far from the classic Fender or Marshall tones.

Dynamics is well and his appointment reflects relatively faithful each amplified instruments. I also saw a guy use this amp with a harmonica, and I admit that the result is quite surprising :).

Personally I think it is really a "blues machine". In fact, the combo is used for sound jazzy or funky but lacks that little snapping / crackling from the classics.

I agree with Le Taz: This is an amp that excels in nothing but does everything well.

OVERALL OPINION

I kept almost two years and he cashed a dozen concerts without ever putting worries. J "admits he hesitated on a possible change of HP and have eyed the side of the V30, however I have never taken the plunge. Marvel The blue is actually very correct.

I also note that this is a very good "first amp tubes" because he well acquainted with the dynamic guitarist and "constraints" of an amp blades.

The price / quality ratio is at the top for any guitarist blues / rock does not necessarily seeking the typed his classics.
