incredibly simple it looks like an orange head !
effects loop, balance dry / wet, switch, 4/8/16 ohm output selection
Active EQ is not always the case. and that's it ...
ultra minimalist look is very nice, it sounds that's all.
UTILIZATION
Setup is very simple, it is still important to have the Ubercab to be able to spit out what she has in the stomach.
the big sound is there, you branch directly and it sends.
not need a manual, but there is one that comes with and it's about a paragraph ...
SOUNDS
So there's very heavy.
I use this head with mainly jacksons US / pro, EMG / Seymour, but I'm not totally agree with the previous opinion. The sound that comes out to me is very "clean"
A treat for those who hate the buzz like "bees" that exist on or Mesa/5150 Engl.
The distortion is smooth and fat at the same time, it's heavy, heavy but not garish.
the clean is very faithful to your guitar sound pretty dull crunch that not, if ever.
therefore not possible to take the lead on the set for hours, you branch it works, if you like it: change of gear
I think we can play basically any style of music "rock" with, with a preference for the types who like low . I play a group of "rock / metal / prog / jesaispasquoi. Anyway, a style that touches a little bit of everything for me and the head completely.
Please note that this header is not a powerhouse, the 100w is slightly overvalued for me
OVERALL OPINION
- How long have you use it?
I use it for more than 10 months, I love the distortion of this amp, the distortion probably the most "soft" and I know I use the word sweet for its pleasing appearance, as if it's live out of a CD product. No fuck that acute ears, no low buzzing sound and not care in the air and no middle who looks like your group by a choir of duck .
All this thanks to EQ quite fabulous, nothing to do with what I could see it before you turn the knob and you hear something, and everything sounds ...
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I have used for many years Mesa Boogie, I have an orange head, I tried the Marshall obviously tried Engl, 5150, Soldano, Line 6 ....
for now I have not seen anything that equaled this machine
regret, the 100w is still a bit shy compared to mesa one end of the volume Bogner must be pushed quite generously. What ultimately may be a good thing because it makes the lights go ...
