I own this amp since 1988. It's a 1971 model and I use it as a bass player with a Jazz Bass.
The sound delivered is a pure marvel .... I have the original 4x12 cabinet but I do not use with a guitar. For deep bass, I head a couple babble Ampeg equipped with 15 inches .... and there it hurts ... very badly.
The 100W issued suffice in most configurations together. If needed more power, smart guys have invented great microphones to regain his HP.
Contrary to popular belief, we can easily saturate the sound (obviously not like 5150 but I do not care I do not like). The resulting sound is then a round and an incredible heat. Vintage luxury at one point I thought to change to a SVT but I changed my mind, it is a quetions identity ... This sound is mine, it runs in my veins.

OVERALL OPINION

Historically, even if parallel I had other amps, but it will remain my favorite.
