UTILIZATION
This is not an amp that can tame ds the first day, the qualisation (bass / middle / treble and presence) as active, the pots are fairly responsive and progressive. Then adds the "SWEEP", which determines the one knob frquence of mdiums, which is thanks to the boost or not knob Middle, so it must be understood that we are zero-Sweep in low frquences mdiums / bass and back up we are in mdiums. This one as too sensitive, has opened a relatively wide range of sounds. So much in fact that after a year of use, it still surprises me.
SOUNDS
I play mostly in drop mtal A, with a LTD Viper baritone, a GT-Pro and a cab in Mount Krankenstein G12T75 V30 and the sound is really my style. This amp excels in distos, the sound is trspchu, large, sharp and prcis. He also has a color which is rather clean, modern but a cot round and warm. The grain is rather dry, you can grease but not as much as a Peavey or Mesa among others. Since it is a Hi Gain, the higher up and he lche, even high volume the sound is right. I use the GT-Pro for the noise gate and master volume but also boost is to say that I would stick with one distortion custom drive 3% and 100% volume, that the Manir grain of the amp is respect and I add just the right amount of saturation so that the sound is more sharp, crisp and fluid. All the pros are a trs trs and works well with any amp. I tried also with a TS-9 which added some punch but also, and my great regret, a cot crmeux which softened the treble.
If you want a glimpse of the typical grain Krank, Throw away an ear to "Rise of the shooting" of archenemy.
The clean sound I fly is not bad but really far from clear Mesa. Something that I knew APRS in the Kleen knob Presence is active.
Otherwise the sound is clean, has not really drool, the breath is really low, even high volume.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had about a year, I waited all this time to post an opinion because I know the prfrais A to Z be the most objective. What I like about this amp is the fact of not sounding like everyone else. As it is mtal head to Mesa, Engl, Peavey while having his personnalit if you want to get out of the mix, it will place no problem.
I had a while Marshall JMP-1 (amended) 9200 1960 A, then a Triaxis, an Engl E530 and a Peavey TripleXXX the Revolution raprocherai One is a little cot for the Engl sec with mdiums beautiful, but with a grain Different.
The report price is good quality, it cost me the price of a secondhand Rectifier.
Fan for a while the Bi-amp, I couple the R-One a TripleXXX, always on the Krank speaker, the Peavey as fatter and cold, Krank is the opposite, they are super compltent STRID well and oats.
If I referrer the same choice? there are so many good amps trying to empty it is not our answer, I'd try Diezel or Bogner but too expensive for me, so repeat the same choices I do not know, for what is against I ENTSO my purchase, I will catgories, not least, I love this amp and as I said above, one year I still catch APRS
