- What kind of amplifier?
2-channel amplifier that can be Hi-gain Whereas even if it takes its Pingle of games if we do not grow too much gain. It is originally fitted with a pair of 5881 (which can provide the "spirit" 6L6 or KT66 in the spectrum) in the power section and five 12AX7 in section pr amplification.
- What is the power dlivre?
50Watts at 4, 8 or 16 ohms.
- What connection?
Input, 2 HP, Effects loop (unfortunately not adjustable), adjustable output slave.
- What are the rglages?
All in all, pretty basic: CONTRL gain and volume for each channel and indpendant 3-band EQ + prsence common to the two channels.
Note, a small dtail fun: A nod to the cult film Spinal Tap, the graduation of 11 rglages goes up!
In short, we have here a typical configuration but not the only dtour BMOL unable to rgler the effects loop ...
UTILIZATION
- The configuration is it simple?

Primarily a les paul standard with EMG 81/60 kit and Explorer. I note in passing that this amp quite clearly highlights the characters of intrinsque diffrent guitars I use it. Dj when I plug a Les Paul Standard with Seymour Duncan rises is the day and night. Although Obviously, this Schma breed even stronger if he acted to plug a Start or a Telecaster.
- What kind of sound you get and with what rglages?
With the LP standard EMG, I love pushing the lower 11, the mids rduire 1 and let the trebles & prsence to 4 / 6 depending on the circumstances. I RPET my MXR micro-amp is switched on continuously and my sound is pretty close to the first album of Black Label Society, the lisire rock and metal.
But when the spirit comes to sound a little more classic rock / blues, a little bit of mids up and hop rolls without problem!
- What are the sounds you prfrez, you dtest?
Most ... jadore! Except that I do not like to push the knob to prsence del 6-APRS is what I sound a little too acidic.
I opt for a change in V5 o out of phase I install an Electro-Harmonix 5751 ... and for me it is absolute perfection carrment

- Have you tried many other models before acqurir?
J'tais first tried a VHT reading the boxes I could see on most sites guitars ... but on the other cot j'tais a little skeptical when I Observing how quickly phnomnale any claims to the VHT Frache bought ... and when I finally came to power in a try for real, and I found a bin trs amp dry as ... In fact, it's not an amp, it's a string Hi-Fi: o). So I reconsidr the issue and naturally led me to lean on Soldano. I long and hard between hsit avenger and hot rod, however, to be honest, j'hsite again and it is likely that the avenger j'achterai the ann e next. In fact, the 2nd channel of the hot rod that pushed me to take it, the avenger, its single channel and no loop seemed too spartan even if love dlivre it sound ... but hey, it gets worse as the fate of being tortured between the choice of these two bx!
- How do you report qualitprix?
Well ... normal ... clear that we enter into another re amplification ... with all that implies a ...
- With the exprience, you do again this choice?
