Two Rock is an amplifier company based out of California that builds high end quality amps that has been featured by many of today's professional artist's such John Mayer and Joe Bonamassa. These amps are not amps that are at your local Guitar Center or Sam Ash. These amps are extremely expensive and hard to find. They have have an assortment of different amps to choose from and this one is more towards the middle of the road in price and flexibility. However, this amp is more towards the studio amps for versatility, tone, and small wattage.

This is a 22 watt 6v6 power tube amp that is a little more than the studio pro 22 but has a more gain structure than the studio. It does not include the EQ1/EQ2 switch and has a more basic feature layout than the CR Sig V3 and it is closer to the EQ2 of the CR Sig in voicing.

UTILIZATION

Features:

* 22 Watts 6V6 ONLY
* Pull Bright Control
* Bypass/Lead switching by foot switch ONLY
* Serial Loop
* Spring reverb with internal drive control

Dimensions: 15" L x 10" H x 10" D
Weight: 29 lbs

SOUNDS

This amp is basically a one and a half channel since there is a second foot switchable lead master and gain. Which can be stepped up in the gain and volume for either leads or another gain channel for rhythm or a lead. You also have a boost switch for brightening up the amp on the treble control knob. This allows for a more cutting one an clearer sparkle to the tone.

These amps work great for any type of guitar that you use. They will highlight the positives in a guitar and your playing style as well as reveal the negatives in the guitar and you sloppy playing. This is very transparent amp that shows the character of the user and the guitars that are plugged into it. These amps are good for really listening to your playing technique and style and challenging yourself more on the instrument.

OVERALL OPINION

At new these amps come in right at around $2750. That is a little on the high side for a single channel amp with a couple extra features. The cleans are dynamite and the gain is very mild. God for country, mild rock, and pop music. These are also great for classic rock styles of music.
