Published on 03/02/13 at 13:06In short: a preamp tubes, three quasi-independent CHANNELS (the cruch and lead share equalization). Assignable output amp or speaker simulation, effects loop series. True bypass. Format pedal, metal box difficult genre to destroy! (S) model (s) that I had (s) were of B.
I do not put a note because I did not see the overall opinion guard.
UTILIZATION
Very easy to use, it is a true preamp that plugs and rule as such.
SOUNDS
Its rating is very very good, true its tubes. Too acute to lead in with original tubes for my taste, but with some adjustments we do what we want.
OVERALL OPINION
The story is a bit astonishing: when I received the beast I plugged into the back of an amp (like the doc) ca blowing a lot and I request an exchange (thank you Thomann!). I received a deuxiemme: same thing! I'm writing a very pro AMT they asked me a small video and its connections: the conclusion probably a pb on the JFET output. Re exchange (thank you Thomann!) And re same pb! I have re-search and with the help of AMT (still very nice) I concluded that it was finally bp entry level (master of my amp being deconecte when using the return of the loop). It is better to have a master active on the amp or preamp to connect the send to the return of the amp (not the same level of breath). After two weeks of use in full chorus bam! down! Mail Thomann which exchange (thank you!). I received the fourth and the amazement of the first test pb SUP! I try on another: very well except that the equalization of switches did not work ... mail that has Thomann me offers to reimburse me (and who pays the shipping costs for each exchange, respect and thanks again !). Conclusion (I know it's long but it will trops can be useful and then ca relief!) Very frustrating because the sound is really great, maybe a bad series? Or somewhere a doll of an object SS11B impobable voodoo ritual?
