It is a tube preamp (12AX7 x 2) for electric guitars, everything is simple .. A clear channel, a channel saturated
19 ".
Front: 1 input jack, volume and tone for the clean channel, gain, Bass, Treble, volume for the full, masts for all
Rear: 1 Line output, 1 output recording (with simulation of HP), a headphone jack, a footswitch input.

I put 6 becaufe ca not many settings anyway ...

UTILIZATION

See above - was an analog preamp, the branch, turn knobs, it sounds ...

Even a cow can use ... I have nothing against cows, but I have rarely seen playing the guitar

SOUNDS

The clean channel is what is more transparent, very right, impossible to do cruncher ...

The channel is more saturated color it with a gain level very gradually, noting that the gain is not extraordinarily high, the result is excellent with humbuckers, less violent with simple ... It's a light, sweet as expected with lamps, I tried it with a Twin, it sounds really terrible.

I put 8 becaufe more gain would not be a bad and with a max gain, even when it blows a lot ...

I use it for 10 years, it has stolen me one, I bought one ...

I recently replaced my Sansamp rack in this machine. mùanque of the adjustable bother me a bit, especially for the clean channel, which is very sharp ... but hey, it was hot like lamps .....

really a very nice little preamp

- Prampli 2 12AX7 (1 / 2 plain, 2 for saturation)
- Lamps branded original Bogner on my copy.
- Two channels so that you can switch from a jack pdalier adhoc.
- Connectors and jacks.
- Hp Simu excellent output on line out.
- Channel 1: volume, tone / Channel 2: volume, gain, bass, treble / Master volume.

Of course seemed a bit just like a, a canal would troisime t welcome!
But being able to switch the remote makes its integration done everything possible in a rack noon.

UTILIZATION

Not need a manual ... Primary School level required.

SOUNDS

The clean channel is really neutral ... is it a quality or a default? The lack of rglage is felt on that channel when playing with a humbucker. A key "bright" t would welcome. If, against you connect your pedals to the disto prfre neutrality s'avre be an advantage.
The Distortion channel is a different story ... the SOUND. The absence of rglage mdiums of (a roof on a guitar preamp!) Do not feel that same as the SETTING THE bass and treble are effective. The gain is actually a little weak with the original lamp (in my case a Bogner). Replaces it with a Sovtek of 12ax7EH I can say that Greg is a saturated 10 carnage *! I just gain 8 and dj is enough for the big fat sound. 10 It is true that the breath is important and the addition of a denoiser is welcome if you put the gain more than 7. The grain is preserved all
gain levels.

* With a lag micro alnico ... yeah the output level of the microphone is important!

APRS many months of use I maintain that the lead channel is a killer. My great regret is the lack of a crunch channel. The clean channel is unusable for me because it's a bypass (very neutral) vritable a clear channel. I'm qute to find a 3-channel preamp with a good clean and a nice crunch (tubeman the rack is very well except in lead I think) but nothing happens for me a candle to the lag in its lead . I'm not talking about the level of saturation, but for the grain and precision ... this channel sings!
Gnant is quite the breath that's true but I do not spare.

OVERALL OPINION

Bought used for 50 Euros (10 Euros for a Sovtek EH). If I find another I achte immediately.
You can do everything, from blues to modern metal (yes, with the right lamps does!).
I at least found my sound and I would have a hard saturation release.
I do not put 10 because I find that "a crunch channel troisime really missing to make it autonomous. I overcome this default with the addition of an overdrive pedals on the clean channel.
It is rare ... so if you find one ... call me !!!!!

PS: the cost of DMOS are AF.

Features already described ... Tube preamp, a clear channel / channel saturates. I was looking for a big sound simple precise and powerful sound with easy studio or on tour. I have an Ultra Stratocaster Marshall JMP head and a lamp that does not saturate the channel.

UTILIZATION

I chose it for its simplicity. Good clear sound and great saturation.

SOUNDS

I plug it directly on the head with JMP all pots thoroughly ... Saturated fat sound. Rather lens (Especially with the head JMP that "shines" not bad!). Attention to the breath when you push the saturation. the lack of bass reported by some can be a longer tour. Too serious and a sound engineer just limit it gives you a dirty his drooling.
For the clean sound is clean and there is not much possibility just the tone control. Again this is what I wanted ... The equalization, the effects I'll leave that to the studio or the sound system. I need a stable or that I am.

OVERALL OPINION

I have 15 years. I have many turns and is a studio album. Lamps and knobs are original and still he walks nickel. I tried different racks, pedals and other pre-amps to get a good distortion at the time and I confess with my budget so it was by far the only one to approach a its pro.

Prampli hybrid tube / opamp, two channels: bright / saturated. Excellent before a multieffect whatsoever. 2 outputs: one flat and a "recording" at all - is thunder (simulation hp). Headphone output.

SOUNDS

Used primarily for the home recording (guitars, bass, vocals (!)).
Its VERY clear neutral but "brilliant" for some and not good for others like me, excellent!
Distortion channel used with a low gain overdrive gives a beautiful trs. Otherwise, donf, well saturated but a lack of bass even with the bass knob bottom. Vort Nomtalleux go way unless you have an APRS EQ to correct this deficiency.

OVERALL OPINION

In two possde ten years, bought used 60 euros each. For the money I collect the ...
