I use a platinum Barthe Rotofluid daily since January 1971 (and has never had any failure!).
Shape with time, appeared a little noise, but it's nothing serious.
I tried the other era turntables (Thorens and Sansui). I also had a Technics turntable that is fails after ten years. Longva the Rotofluid is the thunder.
The sound is remarkable, and trs trs patch nergique, when comparing a recording is strictly the same, on CD and 33 rpm version), it is surprising to discovering a life high and palpable on Rotofluid, rather than on the CD. The comparison is even cruel, for example, an OPRA Rameau (Anacron). In another, the classical guitar possde on the Rotofluid, an energy it did not on the CD.
Brand no longer exists. So it is that difficult to talk now report quality money. Except that, finally, 27 years without failure, is all a test bed!
The only problem is finding a belt. If someone connate an address ...
