Best value:
Excellent
How long have you use it?
I bought my two turntables a year ago.
What is so special that you like most and least?
Pros: a couple truck engine, the exterior is nice and robust, both arms: s in the mix and the right scrath addicts.
Cons: loupiote not enlighten the masses, the lack of precision pitch around zero.
Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I started mixing with a gemini TT02 (small little product prices) but it allowed me to learn a mixer. Once purchased my TT500 I immediately felt the difference was the material of the professional. I regularly mix my brother who has technics 1210 mk2 so I can compare them seriously.
5min after the regulatory rhabituer there I prefer the precision of pitch in a 8-8 and technics but just a bit short, with the TT500 I caller plates that I can not call with the technics.
O level required for the arm with Ortofon scrath a good setting and both decks are good and the higher torque of the TT500 is appreciable: ca off again soon.
How would you rate the quality / price?
This is the highlight of TT500 for a little over 300euros you have very good stuff can change the type of arms and light. If I had a very well stocked Monnais door I took the pitch with a Technics M5G + -16 (which mix is sufficient) for the precision and the reputation of having the indestructible stuff but they are worth double what is slightly abused.
With experience, you do again this choice? ...
With the same means that were the mine in those days yes and without hesitation. I had to buy two turntables 900euros more Ortofon elektro and felts and I wanted something new.
