Very nice range compression in the laboratory Fostex! The solid stuff! Great sound! Today, I use them for my personal pleasure, in a 3-way configuration. They are cut at 800Hz, 2 T845 take over. Two L469 are low, all driven by a QSC Plx 2402.
SOUNDS
The curve is very neutral, the stereo is excellent, the sound is very clear, precise and very dynamic. I'm not going to make friends by saying that the record, mainly due to the configuration recommended by Fostex 3 way at the time, is far superior to JBL or other major brand, especially in the high end and I'm still to experience recently.
OVERALL OPINION
I use them for a dozen years, they were very expensive at the time, but here, quality is priceless! I would do this choice without hesitation. I'll add that I find it regrettable that the mark could not continue to distribute this range, certainly for economic reasons, but she also left on the floor of users who today are no more diaphragms and membranes. And that is not pro!
