Value For Money :
Excellent
The 2445J (16ohms) are especially recommended if you want to achieve a system-efficient high-end performance of 111 dB is exellent: Attention in the case of a passive system to properly adjust the level of compression JBL 2445J on the level of the lowest HP (HP always serious) I highly recommend this if you are not an expert filters passifcar adjust the levels is a real 'head case'
Attention also to the mounting screws to AMERICAN not feel free to replace them with BTR that guarantee optimum torque to the joints and also coupling compression chamber roof.
The pavilion is a JBL 2380 constant directivity horn and must be associated with an active filter that has e-cards to offset the fall in certain acute fréquences. On little use exellent JBL5235 active filter that has maps to choose the cutoff frequency and the flag associated with it (old model) or the new version M552 OR M553.Le 2380A has him when a (good) money but because of its composition it generates a tonic you can completely remove by sanding the flag (box build) and by treating it with a sound-proof type Blackson.
For my part I use the medium in acute 2445J 500Hz to 20,000 Hz so a 2-way system and after many test the TAD TH Pavilion 4001 has established itself as the best choix.Bon it is a bit expensive but there are copies as good as the original to recognize the very c'esr simplel'original a metal fastening the wooden copy
In sound itself everything is OK without weakening it rises up and descends down thereby making système'économique to 2 channels exellente bill
In use HIFI no problem but it must involve a very transparent amp MAC style and powerful INTOSH 2X250 WATTS
For my part I use the configuration veiled in a room of 70M2:
KINOSHITA speakers with JBL 2226H 2x38 cms (8 ohms) 4 ohms which is in parallel configuration of two HP Appolito the top and bottom and the roof in the middle.
Active filtering 'home' cut-off frequency 500Hz 24 db per octave
2 amp MAC MC 7200
AUDIO SP9 preamp Reseach
STUDER A730 CD player
Power handling, dynamics, clarity, and especially a lack of directional qualities of the system
good luck
SOUNDS
After passing the system to the analyzer KLARK TECHNIC response curve HOLDS in plus or minus 3 db from 60 to 20,000 Hz a correction could be made on the tape of 20hz 60 hz but this is due to HP JBL 2226
The sound is clear to him when very precise analytical in the sense of the word.
dynamics is simply breathtaking.
OVERALL OPINION
I use 2445 for 16 years nothing to say except to associate le'bon Pavilion '
their only fault near the weight 14 kg
