I had the NS6 to last Christmas (2011).
That makes one years ago that I use this machine.
I chose because I was seduced by his side parcequ'elle transportable but also works with serato software (itch), it has 4 tracks (be to put two turntables or one microphone and sampler. ..).
I also especially stopped my choice on this model becaufe NUMARK offers 3 years warranty on the model! For me it meant that the product was robust and reliable.
Well surprise, after 6 months of regular use, 1 time a week and a little more during the summer season, July 23, 2012 during a delivery to a customer, right mix, one of the adjustment knobs on the pitch the + right, remained depressed! Specifically, it was broken!
And As the summer is the 4 buttons adjustments either 2 + and 2 - we find that each side is also broken. It was too much hassle to lug mixed in!
I assure you that my use is not very violent, I do not scratch with, I only mix, I do not abuse my equipment, I need for my professional activity, I am entrepreneur and is my only material mix!! (I invested to buy this stuff! Understand you)
I insist on the fact that buttons CUE / SYNC + and - its plastic and are solid at all!!
So I contact the service in September (after the season) to run the warranty, I sent it there for two weeks before that, I had weekly needs and therefore I could not separate in .
Now receiving mail service that tells me that the warranty does not support this service. BILL 119 euros. : (
conclusion:
Now I understand that this machine is not reliable for a pro, the 3 year warranty is a sham. It is neither more nor less That a great trick because you can always find a good reason for you to be the culprit when it comes to kick a problem of robust product (plastic snap buttons after 6 months! unimaginable!)
Now if I had a choice again, I would buy one without thinking solutions classical either 900 or CDJ Pionner with another in the table goes with it. A classic choice, more expensive but trustworthy! With reliable real buttons!
