Published on 06/13/10 at 13:49I wanted an external sound card RCA connectors avecc.
The RCA connectors at this price is a real plus.
She served as a sound card with familly ssoit sound on the amp's RCA by saloon, either by headphone mini-jack, and television was on.
She also served as an outlet for his singing. Satisfactory result in an amateur context.
More recently, optical digital output was ssolicitée to connect a laptop to an external converter.
To summarize, great features
UTILIZATION
Drivers stable since there is no ...
I used the asio4all with cubase and reaper. It works very well.
The latency was kind of 256 samples with a PC 3ghz.
I did not notice any real difference with PCI. Nothing alarming to me.
Quality aside, it is an internal card, without the buzz of the fan, which means the output. Although without more, enough for a small demo amateur. Used a PCI (or kind emu0404 Terratec phaase22) buried, but this is not the same need.
GETTING STARTED
Immediate recognition by windows, also ubuntu linux.
No manual, no cd, easy egg packaging to reflect the sound card in the box.
OVERALL OPINION
Today I went to the converter Behringer SRC2496 much better.
The UCA202 is a map with not many assets.
The first one I bought was released after 6 months, the replacement has not let go until I sold a year later.
I will not repeat that choice because my needs are different.
If this card matches your needs, why not. It's okay, no more, but it's this.
