I chose it because it combines the functions of audio and MIDI hardware. I use it on a laptop Pentium M.
UTILIZATION
Installation without problem. Just in case, I download any new drivers, but I think it n'tait not useful for the version I bought. Surprise for the user manual: English only! I have to send a mail to receive a Ches Edirol French version in PDF.
GETTING STARTED
The whole is fairly stable, but sometimes leaving some audio edition software, the volume is found ZrO. It is then necessary to find the rglage volume in the control panel, which is not very practical.
Grace's ASIO drivers, it is possible to play with Logic Audio Live VST instruments with an almost imperceptible latency.
I have not met the background noise that mention other users
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 3 months and j'apprcie its low latency that allows me to use audio instruments in excellent condition. I have not had the opportunity to try other models similar (audio and midi interface) In this price range, they are not lgion ...
