- What characteristics have motivated your choice?
Being able to quickly model of the compound, with amp simulations and to connect its own effects, super + practice singing with two XLR, an alim 'phantom foot!

- For what purpose?
For the home studio

- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
Windows XP SP3 with 1GB of RAM, etc. ...

- Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
I use it to catch guitar, bass, synth and possibly singing

UTILIZATION

- The installation is done it without problems?
Yes, no worries. The language of Shakespeare is king, be it during installation or later during use. But hey, not too bad in a sense that this is just music (music is a universal language ^ ^)

- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
No!

- The general configuration is easy?
An easy handling. It can well be content to use pre-set effects, and when used to use is, is to launch its own settings.

- The manual is clear and sufficient?
The manual (paper) does not exist. It will just unfortunately the manual in PDF format (always in English).

GETTING STARTED

- The drivers are stable?
Impec

- Are they often updated?
I do not know: s

- What software do you use most often?
I usually struggle with my Audacity (free and simple ^ ^)

- What you get lag?
ZERO latency! This is the big advantage of such a product. No latency, direct a play with an army behind the simulation, the must.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it?
I have the UX2 since last Thursday.

- What is so special that you like most and least?
Very nice design, plastic enclosure look as strong, but I would have preferred metal. The knobs seem solid and strong, then the two illuminated VU meters, it is very beautiful (especially the part where the TP is plunged into darkness ^ ^). It is an object useful for recording a "component found in the moment" with a microphone + an electric guitar plugged along, up Laying out his compositions.

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
I had before the Toneport GX, but I was disappointed. For the simple reason that a single guitar input, for me it was too poor (the budget was there for many), and I think that I was not quite ready to move in this area for recording. I missed many months, I thought about it, and on the advice of friends, I saved and I finally bought.

- How would you rate the quality / price?
I bought € 170. It's expensive, but I think the investment is worth it.

- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
Yes, I preferred to reinvest again in the UX2 the GX example.
