UTILIZATION
Installation without concern initially
Just the inscription on the internet and got a bit confused (3min), but otherwise fine.
GETTING STARTED
The drivers are stable and not known about the latency problem, even if it is greater than that of my audiophile firewire M AUDIO.
Moreover, I use it to mix my projects (more efficient: Firewire). In fact I prefer to use my Line6 as préamp'pour voice, my bass or my Triton rack, and connect the audio outputs to my M.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for about 3 months and complete my M audio very well, which is free of MIC, guitar and modeling.
On modeling, doing very little guitar I will not speak the dessus.Quant on bass, the first reason why I bought it, I think the offer a little low compared to guitares.J 'essentially uses the Ampeg SVT, the other does not really suit me because I am beaucouip of slap and tapping and the only happening to properly render the harmonics, I think, in relation to its medium-acute than j 'giving back fond carefully packed all the serious ça.Même if after many hours of réglages.Les factory presets are not great, but it is well known in AC Line 6.Sinon It is true that every amp and HP has its color which gives him, even though I think many possibilities to sculpt his sound (...)

This is a somewhat unusual use of this card but it works!!
No need to type presonus preamp tube, this can blithely replace a preamp such as in Mindprint (transistor) when not afford it!

We must of course take time to set all this but an interesting solution for Live.
The effects are also relatively good, the reverb and delay sound better than what effect nimporte analog on tables, their qualities are more similarities to those of numerical tables and other kinds Yamha 01V96! In Live they are sufficiently accurate and efficient They surround the voice without distorting or sounding artificial, but use sparingly beautiful! For the studio I do not use them, I use plug-ins to the mix.
The compressor is simple, but works much without more, is more an effect guitares.Les chorus, flanger and other effects such Leslie, equalizer and saturation are correct.
In short, this card is still a gem to the views of its many, especially, to my knowledge it is the only one to combine all these features! If you need a sound card, preamp, the Line 6 Toneport is for you for a reasonable price!
I still regret one thing above all is that you can not combine several Toneport on a same computer as the Presonus FIREPOD! If a patch was out to fill this gap, I will be filled as more entries and modeling of this quality to be used simultaneously so would make me really service.Avis developers to Line 6 ...
