Mutec MC-1.2 digital audio interface and converter
Mutec announces the availability of the new MC-1.2 USB digital audio interface and AES, AES3id and S/PDIF converter.
The new Mutec MC-1.2 allows for bidirectional conversion of USB streams, AES, AES3id and S/PDIF digital audio signal. Signals received from the USB 2.0 port are converted into 5 simultaneous audio digital outputs, which allows for connecting multiple receivers to your Mac or PC computer. In the reverse order, by selecting one of the digital audio inputs, the received signal is converted and sent to the computer via USB.
The MC-1.2 also works as a USB isolator if you use noisy sources. The interface employs ultra-low noise multi-stage power supply to drive the different sections of the circuit and isolates the USB stream from the digital audio outputs. Note that the MC-1.2 can be powered via its internal power supply or via the USB bus, so it can also be used in mobile situations.
The MC-1.2 supports ASIO, MME, DirectSound, WASAPI, Kernel Streaming, PCM 16, 24, 32 and 32-bit floating resolutions as well as sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz.
Mutec adds that both editions are available, one with a brushed aluminum faceplate and another with a black faceplate.
Price: 379 € / $ 449
