Excellent
- What characteristics have motivated your choice?
Midi + audio converters with good flexible if possible.
Portability
- For what purpose?
Recording of various musical instruments (brass, synths, percussion, guitar, bass)
- What is your config (Motherboard / CPU / Ram / Hard ,...)?
P4 3giga4 512de 80giga ram disk
- Which instruments and systems (console, preamp, DTD ...) you use it and how connections? ...
a MIDI keyboard, a tube preamp, a multi-effect
UTILIZATION
- The installation is done it without problems?
The installation of a nickel less powerful laptop.
I have various problems with the P4 (a whistling sound when opening an application using the audio clock plays, echo noise of the hard drive and scrolling display windows) In fact, all problems with internal cards that I just wanted to avoid by buying a USB card! I do not care come with a USB 1.1 card
- Have you experienced any incompatibilities?
I still have to reformat everything to solve the problem
- The general configuration is easy?
For what I tested the laptop so, the software supplied with are very good but somewhat limited.
- The manual is clear and sufficient? ...

GETTING STARTED
- The drivers are stable?
I unplugged the USB interface side (not good) and plugging the card was frozen. The computer has not planted on the other hand. The USB plug-in is no longer hot?
- Are they often updated?
I feel, I get a little bit after the battle anyway. As against the software package is expanding ... Surprise!
- What software do you use most often?
Cubase
- What you get lag?
9ms currently at 44.1 and cracking by increasing the sampling rate.
- How many tracks you get to record / play time? ...

OVERALL OPINION

- What is so special that you like most and least?
The front buttons are functional. A little closer and hard (a little help from pchit dégippant?), But it is very comprehensive.
- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
The public internal cards and a USB 1.1 interface equivalent
- How would you rate the quality / price?
Good
- With experience, you do again this choice? ...
I expect it to work successfully on the P4 originally intended only for the music ...
