I chose this sound card for usb2 mainly because I do not have firewire on my motherboard.

I work with a pc 3ghz Dual Core, 2 gigs of DDR2-533 Corsair and two hard drives running at 10,000 rev / min. Frankly level characteristics, I am satisfied for the use I made: techno composition and recording of my voice, I said no singing.

UTILIZATION

For installation, no problem really.

Configuration level, except for the latency and the sampling rate there is nothing! I expected at least one interface "mixer" for inputs / outputs, it is not.

The manual is clear enough for someone with basic computer concepts.

GETTING STARTED

Simple and effective this card! I use Ableton Live 6 and vst like Battery, FM8 and Korg Legacy Collection, it crashes and the CPU is not overloaded even with cst strangles.

I give the max rating because it does what I ask her out and I sound quite good.

OVERALL OPINION

Personally, I find that for 260 euros you will not be stolen nor disappointed. I have not mentioned above but the quality of the case, this feeling of robustness is there. Small but tough lol

The ability to assign a few buttons in midi is a plus, as it is used or not.

My overall score will be 9 / 10 because I would have liked at least a graphical interface for input and output of the card.
