profx « Almost flawless, but it's good »

Obviously being able to 96Khz registered with 114dB I decided for the price.
Most of this card is to have integrated digital effects for inputs, supported by the sound card (compression, reverb ...). You can register using the registration effects in or out.
And for us, Windows user, the USB indispensable.
My config includes a Korg R3, snow Virus, Blofeld Wardolf, analog effect pedal Boss ...
And a laptop Windows Seven Duo CPU + RAM 3GB 2x2GHz with a SSD hard drive. Why the SSD? Simply loading speed and disk usage in recording audio inputs and the use of VST and VSTi ...
The little thing indispensable, USB HUB, practice to have only taken to connect to the laptop. For the time being no conflict between machines using USB sound card.

GETTING STARTED

The advantage of using the 96Khz and 114dB card is to record audio lossless or small. We do not differentiate between live and recorded sound. And for VSTi, no complaints, great sound spring, unless you config 44Khz.
But the only concern is that my computer can not bear the load processor 96Khz.
In use, I work for everything 96Khz audio recording then create a virtual instrument and recording a track continuous conversion of a VSTi audio ... and all that formatting, setting Preset ... I am working in 44Khz to reduce CPU load.
There is a version with 8 voice sound card, but personally, it suits me. Easy to carry if necessary audio output 3 and 4 to send sound effects or other analog to tweak and re-record ... robust housing, the main facade.
I hesitated with the RME Babyface, but I do not regret the purchase, since my use for electro, it amply meets its share of the work.
