Besides the higher number of channels, the UR44 remains a compact audio interface with an rugged aluminum chassis that can be easily transported and used with the included software bundle.
The UR44 offers 4 mic/line inputs on Neutrik XLR/1/4" combo connectors with Class A D-PRE preamps ; a Hi-Z attenuator is present on inputs 1 and 2 and a line attenuator is available on inputs 3 and 4. Two balanced line inputs are also available on the rear of the interface, along with 4 balanced line outputs, 2 main outputs, MIDI in and out and Class Compliant mode switch to connect the iPad with an Apple camera connection kit. Last, the UR44 features 2 headphone outputs, each with its level control.
The maximum audio resolution is 24-bit / 192kHz and the UR44 ships with the Cubase AI 7 DAW, the Basic FX Suite with DSP processors, including the Sweet Spot Morphing Strip, the REV-X reverb and the Guitar Amp Classics guitar amp simulations developed by Yamaha. The dspMixFx is also included.
