I was looking for a solution to rcuprer DAT tapes on my PC, numrique direct. I had a good view from numrique on the PC but can not have good sound (interferences with other electronic components). The choice of Auron MK II has t motivated by a prsence between numrique optics.

    UTILIZATION

USB without installation problem in XP. No need for manual (also non-existent because documentaion on the CD). Simple configuration because I do not use the 5.1 output.

    GETTING STARTED

I use the interface to record directly with a Stereo sound editor (Nr or other).

    GETTING STARTED

    OVERALL OPINION

I've had two weeks now. My problem of parasites (lectriques. ..) is rsolu. The limit is chantillonage frquence of 48 kHz and 16 quantization bits (corresponding to DAT), but sufficient for my use (and especially for the price to audio cards 96 kHz/24 bit) .
A single point me tonn to beginners is that you can not hear the sound on the line out or headphones when recording from between numrique (duplex problem? ). I found the solution also by connecting the analog output of the DAT between analog line. You just vrifier that stores well because obviously numrique fonctionnenet both inputs at the same time.
In quibble a bit, you can just regret not being able rgler the headphone volume output ...

What motivated my choice: the price and stability of products terractec, I had a dj and I shut up phase 28 trs happy. I use mostly dual output 4.1 with virtual DJ and a laptop to mix in the evening complment of my decks and I must say that is perfection
While it lacks the dynamic and the bass of a SoundBlaster Audigy for making the painful exprience to have this famous gun SoundBlaster Audigy PCMCIA port on a branch in full evening for some reason totally unknown, I prfre Galise and compress a bit of a Terratec Aureon that reliability is a copy
    the price is a 9 / 10

    UTILIZATION

    Installation trouble-free, stable drivers

I do not use that output in 5.1, no test recording with effectus

    OVERALL OPINION

The pros: price, the quality of its stability more than enough for the price

the -: mini jack outputs -10 dB, RCA does have more "pro"

I bought from a home audio 8 DJ native who she really is pro but this little card is in my rgy "in case!" not because it is simple and effective CHRE

    I can't feel any latency.

    OVERALL OPINION

How long have you been using it?
    One year.

Which feature do you like the most / the least?
    Pros:
Incredibly stable, I simply forget the sound card during my performances. It works fantastically well and the sound is perfect (the card feeds a good little Stanton mixer and a big P.A. system). I've seen other people have problems with big and heavy interfaces but not with this baby. It's simple, stable and effective.
    Compact size.
Optical connection (I don't use it but you never know...!)
    Nice look.

How would you rate its value for money?
Very good and you can probably find it secondhand...
Based on your experience, would you buy this product again?
    Yes, 100% positive.
