Published on 12/02/10 at 10:21In recent years I interresse nearly everything related to modeling guitar amp .. I almost all the boards but I missed the JamVOX .. The price is a little more attractive lately I've been softened, so I bought the JamVOX ..
The main motivation of this choice on the side tool .. In fact I'm pretty all the time in mop right and left and I thought the JamVOX can answer my expectations ... Mission accomplished ...
I use it with my skyscraper travel Warmoth kit that I had made some ten years now and is unknowingly at the time the ultimate weapon for use with amps modeled ..
Regarding JamVOX I use it for work, plans, scales, and jam delidoigts securities legends ..
PC side I installed it on my laptop HP Pavilion DV7 .. The app runs on vista and frankly nothing wrong everything works perfectly ..
UTILIZATION
I upgraded from the first day the software to version 1.52 available at JamVOX Online .. Installation is very simple not need to leave St circumstances ..
I have not encountered any problems so far except the CPU of some important patches ..
The latency is almost nil .. If you purchase
GETTING STARTED
JamVOX I advise you to save time to register on the site JamVOX Online and sign up ..
This will enable you to download the latest update of software and you will not have a facility to do that without using the cd provided ..
After installing the software connecting the monitoring system and you will be prompted to complete the installation of drivers ..
As stated above nothing nasty ..
The manual is not very adequate but it is necessary to understand the system GXT allowing you to melt down guitar lines on your mp3 or other favorites ..
The GXT is most of the soft but the result is not always there but you still useable ..
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for several months and I'm happy ..
The modeling part is more than correct, the grain is present and the effects of very good quality ..
My only downside is that the monitoring system does not need to hire some overdrive .. But once widely exploited ..
