Firouz Farman-Farmaian

As a songwriter and as a musician Firouz FarmanFarmaian's production has been constant since the founding of Paris based art-rock outfit PLAYGROUND circa 2003 and the release of two celebrated consecutive Playground albums, including an unreleased lost album, number of EP’s, remixes and singles. The band’s second and official last opus  PLAYGROUND NIGHTOLOGY went gold in France in 2010. 

After 2014 FarmanFarmaian’s migration South towards Andalusia and Northern Africa and Athens gave birth to new explorations that over time solidified under FORRM, an experimental rock ensemble.

FORRM  released its 1st album  FORRMNUFORRM on the 22nd of April 2022 on the occasion of FarmanFarmaian’s participation at the 59th Biennale di Venezia with the Kyrgyz Republic Pavilion
