- Ergonomic level as those s'inquitent rest assured, if the Jackson King V is a bit boring to play sitting, Randy Rhoads is not a problem since the horns are shorter than the other and the jack is the "good cotquot; ... After an hour of play than we do even more attention. Otherwise it's really all lgre ... but true: p Play standing it works well even if it tends to look down, but can be just as AC because I'm playing super low.

- Get a good sound? Frankly as with any guitar amp ca dpend of personal too ... I plugger has a Marshall 100w lamp, with Duncan humbuckers (I almost pee on it when I vut the Duncan beautiful version of "updated") if you can not get a good sound, sell the guitar and go to the PCHE.

SOUNDS

- I play Metal, mostly what you might call the Metalcore. I shall decide to have this guitar APRS vut a lot of my guitar ftiches use or Jackson King V Randy Rhoads and really, I do not regret does influence. I do not often jou anything other than metal, therefore, in terms of versatility I can not really tell you about but probably should not look far to understand that this is a guitar Metalleu and sound apart from the mouth anyway vut she pays our beautiful Randy Rhoads, I do not think a player is Blues tent. Trs's big sound in perspective, especially in agreement.

- I play with a marshall 100w lamp, ca forcment here must therefore well surout through my Digitech Metal Master, I prscise's based on one I use EMG ESP KH-2, ben is probably gots a question and I would not say that Duncan worth the EMG, but the active me a little tired and Seymour Duncan ass potential to take the Relva can be ... except for the palm mute that looks a little sick that's true

OVERALL OPINION

- I use it for one week and I love it! I prscise that n'tait not a foregone conclusion as a given that I RSDLP ESP KH-2 Vintage is based touver mieu ... (in my style to remain objective) c ' silent no small task.

- What I like most: The shape of the Randy Rhoads, the big sound che
- What I like least: The handle not varnish, floyd that shit but that's all the guitars on a floating tremolo, and above all BIG BREAKING MOOD the 22 frets, but it fits. .. we change it bend and pull a little more;)

- I am accustomed to a guitar shop, I tried MODEL of a shovel (Les Paul, Explorer, Flying V, yada yada ...) and even if every time I thought again the choice of EMG, I chose the Duncan and I do not regret it.

- Value for money: I pay 750. At that price I would have 24 frets prfr or at least stick coatings (He is on my LTD Viper-50 has 300 so good ...) but overall, knowing that if we add 2 boxes, that varnish the handle and the fact that the states make you get an RR1 has over 1000 ca the blow when even worth.

- In the same circumstances as when I bought it and YES I would do without this choice hsit more transparent and black mca black is beautiful. APRS with beaucouo I'll buy more in the RR5 ivory and gold ... the ultimate form of scratches Jackson V. .. with 24 cases and no Floyd.

- Like other Jackson who are not from the United State, it does manufacture in Japan.
- 22 frets, equipped with two Seymour Duncan pickups (TB4 in the bridge and SH-2 Jazz in neck)
- Licensed Floyd Rose.
- 2 volume knobs (one for each pickup) and a knob of Tone.
- Manche Jackson screwed.

10/10

UTILIZATION

Then the neck is super thin and super nice, and especially quick as clear! Great for a good solo COB ...
Access to treble is super easy (Randy Rhoads forces) and I think 22 is ample case, even for solos.

Strength is not a perfect example of "GUITAR" that holds up well when it is loose, given its shape, it pitches down (nothing too serious). The shape is beautiful and the weight is really reasonable trs.
Then, ds that I plug into my Hartke Piggy Back ... TOTAL KILL! I now find my sound.
I put 9 for the fact that she slumps

SOUNDS

I play metal, style COB, and therefore it's perfect.
I have an amp Hartke Piggy Back (Super and cheap) pedals and a Digitech Metal Master.
I love the sounds pretty serious and precise trs, and it is the foot glove!

That's why I put 10/10

OVERALL OPINION

I use it since mid-2007 fvrier.
What I like most is the look and color (Crimson Swirl, a little more, but we understand or go our tunes are).
I try qelque scratch before (LTD F-250, SA 120 Ibanez, Epiphone LP Custom, Epiphone Korina EXP ...) and there's no photo.
The report qualitprix .... Ben I saved several months for it, but I do not regret at all!
With experience, I think I probably would do this choice, given that the former RR3 taient the same price with Duncan Design and who had the plate for knobs mirrored ... But I would not mind buying a RR24 which also looks really pretty ... Basically, if you want a beautiful skyscraper with a great Floyd and finishes copies, He ben take this guitar .... Voil

lgre the rr3 is like a feather, level ergonomics unlike ides received it is much easier to play sitting (a horse on one thigh) and standing in the latter case because she got a serious tendency to pitch nose, not excessively, but when even

get a good sound of the still dpend derrire stuff you have, but overall with microphones origins and basic transistor amplifier gives a big fat sound and thundering on versatility.

Score: 4, I will change is not for nothing

SOUNDS

I play any style of metal and it is true that Randy Rhoads is almost the ultimate metal guitar, the Randy Rhoads yes, not specially rr3 not. I recommend the above range ...

I changed the original microphone config H / H for the EMG 81 (bridge) and I must say that I did well: ca m'vitera to repeat the same mistake I lost all hihi versatility (0 absolute versatility) and the time I need to find a t rglage multiply by ... long for rsultat not forcment mieu than that obtained with the microphones origins dcidment trs good. (Be able to sustain mieu also: /)

NOTE: 8, 8 even when I put becaufe even if I am not satisfied with the MOI mdifs I even bring the big sound that chih mom is not a myth associated Randy Rhoads was the error, if you play only the metal in any case: it is a pure killing that will bring a sound and solid edge (the palm muting is joussif scratches on this) even RACORD a transistor amplifier 3 watts =]

OVERALL OPINION

I use the guitar as main rr3 for over a year, when Cal j'crit is a horse in my arms on my thigh and I must say that it hurts me to tell you that she has only weeks to live (at home anyway) before being replaced (by a LTD KH-602)

I am sad, because it really is a guitar that I love for its looks (I vnre and I'll miss the point that I can tell you that I buy some another rr later) and a big sound that never fails in more than one year of good and loyal service.

However, it has flaws which I can not m'accomod (the 22 boxes, the handle screwed on licensed floyd is a monumental crap ...)

With the experience I would do the same no choice, but it's a bit easy to say because my game has absolutely impresionante evolve since I bought it.

In the era with my level of false beginners / intermediate this guitar a silent gem that share prices will please report any quality apprentices metalheads who want to have a scratch of the mouth and sends ... APRS I would advise apprentices satriani another guitar or a model of the range gear-board suprieur with more reliable and a better finish.

NOTE: I can not give an overall score is something that is priceless lol (I learned all about this guitar so ...) but if I really had no choice I would have put 5; )

In which country was it made? (United States, Japan, Mexico, France ...)
Japan

How many frets, what kind of micro as well as their configuration?
22 frets (I think sufficient), and TB4 Humbucker Pickups SH2 (for the price the pickups are fine but personal to the guitar instead of a TB4 I saw a better SH4 and SH6 but it would have pushed the hair price)

What type of bridge (Floyd, Wilkinson ...)?
Licensed floyd bridge jackson I find mediocre! Its easily loosens and the bridge back not quite to its original position. So his tune, slightly true, but it's audible but not great.

What are the settings (volume, tone, micro switch ...)?
A volume knob for each pickup

A volume knob for each pickup
A tone
A three-position switch Bridge / Neck & Bridge / Neck (could not be more simple)

What type of race?
Rosewood handle "screwed" ( )
Clearly, the harmonics absorbed, but a quick touch! This guitar is really made for speed metal beginner to acquire the level while turning in ptits coffee with his group of province.

rating: 6 / 10

UTILIZATION

The handle is it fun?
My word it is, it seemed my broad, rounded the first time I've had it in hand (although I have known large curved sleeves hehe) that said you get used much, despite the heel that is the end of the handle that can alienate shredders

Access to acute (recent freight) is it easy?
He is careful but it is obvious I speak for guitar of this form! This is done without too much trouble, I'm not hard, you get there much but compared to the form of a stratocaster is necessarily different

Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
Level is relatively light weight, which I have seen look quite shocked. In fact I Croy more bulky compared to the impression given me the photos.
It stings a little nose, after sitting will make you hold your guitar differently (one leg) and you will discover new sensations hehe

Do you get a good sound easy? ...
Good sound ...
I would say it sounds too too bad, the choice of wood (alder) is a good idea with these microphones is not too cold last sound that says it all depends on your amp huh.

rating: 7 / 10

SOUNDS

They are suitable to your style of music?
I play metal so yes it fits my style in general, after I play hardcore / deathcore a tuning very serious and there should not ca me anymore (at microphone). They have trouble keeping up, they drool below the Drop D and seriously after the drop C. A drop then I use you even imagine!

With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play?
I have a Randall RG50 Combo ( I still wonder why) and a visual sound pedal

What kind of sound you get and with what settings ("crystalline", "bold ",....)?
In his fiddling get a good clean! not too runny, slightly sharp and hot in chimaira (I am not good eh)
Still we play at home the Lamb of God which goes divinely with these microphones

What are the sounds you prefer, you hate?

Inevitably it is the distortion, the are pretty clear retransmit without being extraordinary
All it says is correct as long as we do not leave trails, and we play Metallica and Company
Forgotten Carnifex, Suicide Silence or BMTH

rating: 6 / 10

OVERALL OPINION

How long have you use it?
1 year and a half already

What is so special that you like most and least?
What I like most is his size, lightweight and fast once you understand how to use it well
What I like least, the microphones too restrictive on the panel's

Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Rather yes, Ibanez, LTD, Dean I have tried many, but at the time I tripotté the low end because I wanted a new guitar but I had no money, then I would buy an EX-50 LTD from home and I had come into some money a week before going to the store and there I tested the RR3 who had at the time immediately filled (I was at way into trivium and for me, heavy metal y'avais it real) So between RR3 and Ex-50's on you see the difference! That made my purchase! Then passing the years and inevitably you change your application too!

How would you rate the quality / price?
The value for money is generally rather good! Not great but it will

With experience, you do again this choice? ...
With the exprérience no I do not have that choice would do. Not that the hardware is bad but my requests are different from before. I think this guitar is very suitable for the average budget of wanting to play Trivium, Metallica, Bullet For My Valentine, Still Remains, Judas Priest, Lamb of God and others that use tunings vicinity.

But when you want to do in the heavy, go your way and head to a seven-string baritone or if you have the utility

I personally prefer to play sitting with a V-shaped guitar than with a Strat-shaped one. The guitar is well-balanced if you play on your feet (of course you must know how to set a strap).
It's really easy to get different sounds, just play around with the knobs.

SOUNDS

I play heavy metal (like 95% of all Jackson RR owners) and It has certainly blown me away!
I previously played an Ibanez RS240 with a Fender Champion 110 feeding a Harley Benton 212 speaker cabinet. The sound was muddy, but now... It sounds sharp but not too fat and with superb overtones. In short it's exactly what I was looking for.
Clean sounds are ok. It could have more sustain for my taste.
In short there's not much to say regarding its sound.

OVERALL OPINION

I've been using this guitar for 1 week.
Most of all I love its shape which is certainly light-years ahead from a Strat. I also like the position of the output connector.
Before buying it I tested lots of guitars, from the DKMG Jackson to an Epiphone Les Paul and a Gibson Explorer.
Only the Jackson is comparable but it has active pickups.
I bought it secondhand. The value for money is excellent even if you buy it new.
Would you buy it again? I don't know... I think I'd rather choose the supreme Randy Roads model (RR1) because I always want better.
