«  a good scratch »

- In which country was it made? (United States, Japan, Mexico, France ...)
Made in Japan

- What type of bridge (Floyd, Wilkinson ...)?
A licensed floyd jackson, it is not bad at all, it is pretty good tuning I think. After that is a floyd, ie to change tuning, must get their hands dirty. If we know what to expect, it is quite nice.
Only downside: the stem tends to loosen permanent ... but hey, it's just a detail.

- What kind of stick? How many frets?
Bolt-on Maple 22 fret, flat. It's fast, access to acute is pretty easy.

- What types of micro and their configuration?
Two Seymour Duncan humbuckers, including the TB-4 bridge.

- What are the settings (volume, tone, micro switch ...)?
Two volume knobs, one master tone and a 3 position switch

UTILIZATION

- The handle is it fun?
The handle is very nice, fast, very flat (at the same time it is a jackson is reassuring), in short, typical of the brand. Easy access to acute.

- Ergonomics is it good (in terms of shape, weight ...)?
If you love the form, it goes by itself. Otherwise provide a micro adjustment period.
This guitar tends to sting a little nose, but nothing serious. (And not all guitars of this form does not sting the nose, see the rr24)
It is light enough.

- Gets it easy to sound good?
The pickups were well chosen I find the bridge pickup is very effective in distortion, very powerful, but less cold than emg 81 (but no less powerful), while the microphone in the neck position is downright versatile and clean frankly is correct, or even good.

In short, that's good.

SOUNDS

- They are suitable to your style of music?
I play melodic death metal and this guitar is well suited to my style of music ... But I sometimes venture into the old-school rock and blues, or even a lil clean from time to time and I find my account.

- With what (s) amplifier (s) or effect (s) do you play? I play this guitar amp with a vox vt-30, and the sounds j'obtient suit me. For big sound, I use the shop channel metal, and rock the AC-30. J'obtient sound very fat with the metal shop, and quite dry with the AC-30. The crystal clear, for cons, I have a little trouble. I think it's largely a matter of adjustment.
For effects, I pod 2.0 (not bad, but it is well worth not a pedal)

- What are the sounds you prefer, you hate? I like the sounds, but I confess that the crunch is, with these microphones, fairly rough.

OVERALL OPINION

- How long have you use it? I use it now for over 2 years.

- Have you tried many other models before buying it?
Yes, I tried a cort, I can not remember the model, but a micro y'avais EMG-HZ. I preferred the handle of the Jackson (and look, it must be said, is less that the cort toc)

- What is so special that you like most and least?
What I like is the look, and handle pretty nice. The shark teeth inlays are pretty too: p
What I like least is the fragility of the varnish, leaving at least scrape against a wall. But hey, it's not really serious

- How would you rate the quality / price?
I find the value pretty good, and with experience I would do I think this choice.
