I bought this guitar a guy an orchestra in my region who sold all his gear. It is white with a Floyd Rose vibrato brand, two microphones and is double the 1985 so I know if we can call RR1 but in any case looks like ay. On the head there described "made in United States" so I think she does makes the United States. It is very well finished and super enjoyable.

UTILIZATION

Everything is good on this guitar sound, the neck, the look ... I just have a little trouble sitting to play with but it must not be made for a. Besides, I have a poster of Metallica Kirk Hammet which has almost the same and plays upright.
The sounds are all sat monstrous crunch of the extreme sat and clean sounds are clean but trs trs are not Fender (dual microphones!)

SOUNDS

I like the mtal me and it's perfect. I have a Mesa, two Marshalls and a few other lesser-known lights amps (Laney, Ampeg ...) and it is with everyone. This is one of my guitars prfres.

OVERALL OPINION

I have this from scratch this t o I had a fit of money and I'm really happy. I paid 500 euros because his former Owner 'was an urgent need to sell and I because the merchant flighjt silent box a little battered. I think I made a deal.

UTILIZATION

The handle is also enjoyable as my pillow, it is varnished derrire making it soft key is bne, what do you expect??
Access in acute ais is perhaps a little less than a more traditional guitar shaped like YWAM, but personally, I sometimes fret of the camper and I do not remember to have t once bothered!
It is lgre, perfect to play standing (position involves sitting and standing than indented, allowing a transition without even noticing: the position of "classic" with a peak of each cot right leg). Ergonomics "metal" with these peaks is not at all teachers, I got used the position of game 1 hour, and found it prfrable From that moment, it is less turned to look its handle, it is before our eyes! (no back pain!)

SOUNDS

This scraper is suitable for all styles in terms of sound (at least in terms of look, of course =)! )

OVERALL OPINION

It has been almost two years since I use it, have APRS rcupr ocaz of France on ebay (risky!
It is gnialement comfortable, all spices are high-end, the key to vibrato, is the day and night with almost everything that I could now test level comfort, and best metal sound level (I did not test much in the other style, I admit that strat will certainly fits for some!)
SHE IS BEAUTIFUL! I MODEL LTG is to say with the clear paint through the pickups and the vibrato, I never t for designs on guitars, for fear of tiring myself but the custom shop Jackson has done things perfectly, it is perfectly integrated in the scrapers, I do not even notice it more, and is totally beautiful)

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is perfect from head to toe

Just about every left handed USA Jackson you will see will be a Custom Shop order. They do not make many of these and the prices for them reflect that. Other than that these are just left handed versions of the guitars. The specs are pretty much identical in most cases and the fit and finish is just as good if not better because of their lower production numbers. This guitar is the famous Randy Rhodes Jackson. It features the famous offset Randy Rhodes V shape. This design helps with the guitars balance. The guitar has a neck through body with a maple neck. The body is made from alder. The neck has a 22 fret ebony fretboard with Jacksons signature shark fin inlays. The neck and headstock are fully bound. It has a Floyd Rose double locking tremolo which is something the original didnt have. It has two Seymour Duncan humbuckers. It has an SH2 in the neck and a TB4 in the bridge with one volume and two tone knobs with a 3 way switch.

UTILIZATION

Being such a broad V shape the upper frets are not that easy to reach. Being only 22 frets helps this. The guitar has Jacksons famous compound radius neck which greatly improves playability. This combined with the neck through construction give the guitar a great feel. The radius of the fretboard changes as you go up the neck. Near the headstock on the low end the radius is 12 inches which means the fretboard is slightly more curved up there to make playing chord shapes more comfortable. Near the high end the radius is 16 inches which makes shredding and lead playing effortless. The Floyd Rose stays in tune very well no matter how hard you divebomb on it.

SOUNDS

The JB and the Jazz combination in this guitar give it awesome tone and it is very versatile as well. The JB in the bridge is the benchmark for all hot rodded PAF pickups. It has a great sound that can be used in just about every type of music. The pickup has a tighter low end but still has a but if sag in it so it can still be used for classic rock. With the alder body and maple neck on this guitar you get more of a brighter tone that really cuts through the mix. This bright tone helps the Jazz in the neck get a super clear but still smooth sound. The Jazz is a slightly hotter version of the 59. It has a bit more high end bite so it does not get as muddy when you are playing with high gain in the neck position.

OVERALL OPINION

This is now a classic Jackson shape. With this guitar you can rock out with your Jackson even if you are left handed. Be prepared to pay a price with these left handed USA Jacksons. They are more expensive than the right handed models and those models are already not cheap. If you are able to afford one of these lefty USA models you might as well order a fully custom model if you are willing to wait for it to be made.

UTILIZATION

The frets arent as easy to reach on this guitar as on other Jacksons because the shape of the V. The ebony fretboard feels good under your fingers. The neck through design means there is no heel so that is good too. Jacksons at these levels come with compound radius necks. This means that on the higher frets the radius is flatter making it easy to bend but on the low frets its more curved making chords more comfortable.

SOUNDS

With the Seymour Duncan pickups the guitar has a huge versatile sound. The alder body with the maple neck give you the classic shred guitar tone. Not many companies put after market pickups in their guitars but Jackson does. Jackson knows if you are paying more than 1000 dollars for a guitar you should not have to change the pickups right after you get it.

OVERALL OPINION

Randy Rhodes was one of the most influential guitar players of the last half century. This model of Jackson guitar is a lasting tribute to his legacy. With Jacksons falling out of favor in use among the guitar players of popular music you do not see guitars like these being played as often as you would a few years ago. This is sad because its a perfectly fine and versatile guitar. When you play a Jackson RR you are playing and keeping a part of metal history alive.

The Jackson RR V was a guitar originally made for the famous Randy Rhoads. It has since evolved to become one of the most iconic guitars in the metal industry, especially in thrash metal. The guitar features an alder body, maple neck with ebony fretboard and shark fin inlays, 22 jumbo frets, and original floyd rose, one volume knob, two tone knobs, HH configuration and a 3 way switch.

UTILIZATION

I'm not normally a fan of V guitars due to ergonomics, but the RR isn't quite as bad as some other Vs. The shorter lower horn allows it to sit in your lap a bit easier, but I still find myself having to sit in classical style and support the neck. The coolest feature about this guitar is the compound radius neck. At the lower register, the guitar has a smaller radius. This allows you to chord very easily without straining your wrist. At the higher frets, the radius is flatter. This allows you to do extreme bends without fretting out. The fretwork on this guitar is also very nice.

SOUNDS

The RR1 is a very versatile guitar thanks in part to its pickup selection and tone knobs. The JB in the bridge is probably one of the most well known and well rounded pickups in the guitar industry. It has leant itself to nearly every style from jazz to death metal. The Jazz in the neck is actually deceiving as it can work for nearly any style you can think of as well. It's a little brighter and clearer than the '59, so fast shred lines come out cleaner. The additional tone pots also allow you to shape the tone a lot more than other models.

OVERALL OPINION

The RR1 is probably my favorite V out of the entire Jackson line. Part of that is because I'm a big fan of Randy Rhoads, but the other part is because it's a well put together and sleek guitar. The fretwork is nice, the pickups are great, the guitar sounds wonderful and it does metal tones in spades. Considering their price, you might want to look for one on the used market instead of buying new.

exceptional! the guitar is killer, the EMG speak for themselves, a very significant grain for my little "Peavy Bandit 112" I couple with a bass amp to the punch!

I bought it 2 months ago (from October 2010) and j ' confesses to be very satisfied! sold in a cash express only 800 euros opportunity (obviously the sellers had no idea what they had in stock) it was my favorite, very little damaged, sounds of thunder ... this is the guitar of my childhood ^ ^
Fan of Kreator, Anthrax and Metallica to other 14 years I immediately loved the air guitar, with its heavy and pests, a real ax to hell (in the clip of Kreator betrayer) solos and look demential !!
My first acquisition was a js30rr jackson entry level model with which I am still playing, I tried before a ps1 and a jackson RR5, and a dinky, but the rr1 is by far my favorite!
€ 2600 new, 1800/1500 euros occasion a bit expensive but it falls within the domain of "prestige"
