UTILIZATION

the handle is exceptional for me. I also thrashmaster a LAG with exactly the same handle. I love her profile, C thin enough, but not a breadboard so ibanez.
the frets are well finished, it does not hang from the first to the last cargo.
Access to acute is excellent, especially for a bolt-on neck, but the junction is profiled as the thrashmaster.
It is especially lightweight, making it a guitar really cut out for the stage, and then it look dam!

SOUNDS

I must admit that it sounds empty unless my thrashmaster let alone my the beast (yes I love lag). Certainly a matter of form, as the thrashmaster has a completely identical violin (mahogany body maple neck ebony fingerboard)
Once connected by against any worries, it has a good sustain and sounds heavenly. However, I've always had with the correct microphones, I've never had the original pickups. I got to start with a set of EMG (81 and 85), currently it is mounted with a X2n in Chavalet I will change to a box tone that sounds the death on my beast so I want to test.
I play on a Peavey Triple XXX and ultra sounds really metal, a bit too fat can be what pushes me to also test with a tone zone.

OVERALL OPINION

I have a great history with this guitar that I sold and regretted for years, and suddenly I had an archeology mission, I have found over the sellers that I had sold and I have acquired.

UTILIZATION

Ca on paper looked really nice but what I found most of it down to bne: I had the feeling of playing on the plastok! Nothing to do with my bne N4, I do not know if it is their plastic puff back half of the button or anything but unworthy of a guitar Franaise ( not an importer etc. ..) 6000 francs!

OVERALL OPINION

I test 30 min in a store on Marshall VS100 few years ago, I found it a bit lightweight to post a notice ... although when I see some opinions ...
But I know enough to gauge a guitar and report quality price!

Regarding the receiver of the test: I find stupid to try a guitar amp that you do not connate!
Indeed any sounds in a rack shovel VHT and I know what I mean since I test shit in my rack ... well it sounds!
Also I had a VS8080 and a friend had thus VS100 Marshall VS I know how they sound!

In short sounds trs moderately comfortable but with a touch weird enough for the bne

The neck is very fast and friendly, adapts well to play metal / fusion ....

This is a guitar mainly for the metal
and that's when I play that I used!
I use it often in the following way,
the neck pickup gives big bass while remaining very accurate
very useful for large rhythmic saturated, or clean arpeggios
bridge pickup is almost exclusively FOR USE
with the distortion, it is also very specific, I do not like to clean!
the combination of both is very useful for its clean sounds funky
This intermediate position is a good compromise since it reacts well

micro relatively powerful for humbucker passive

OVERALL OPINION

I acquired this guitar in 2000, I got a little over 30 minutes in hand! which allowed me
to make me a real opinion and test it on different amps ... it is perfect for a big music
(And not so big!) Saturation, and even if she is doing very respectable, well bluesy clean sounds are still not his favorite. They prefer sounds more "clinically cold ".../
I paid 1000 euros this guitar at the time and value for money is quite right ... contrairenment a previous opinion I would say that this guitar is well worth my previous US jackson which cost about 400 euros more ! (Except for sonic palette much larger due to the 5-position switch with tone control +!)
I do it again this choice without any hesitation!

UTILIZATION

The neck is perfect, it's nice, fine, it slides alone .... I am fulfilled, any time, it is true that I am a little over with the keys, but once you listen to the sound, we play with this guitar, the sensations are forgetting this little defect. one has access to acute incmparable because, although it is a threaded sleeve and not a set neck, back of the guitar is dug at the intersection with the handle, and it marries well the shape of the hand. the guitar is very light, but otherwise it should be kept pitches down is true.

SOUNDS

I play a lot of symphonic metal, so I do the sweep and contrary to my previous guitars, if I put myself on the bridge pickup to the sweep, the sound goes alone means not too much friction that the pick the strings, but if I put on the neck pickup, there's a j'obtient to sweep really giant, everything goes perfectly (I speak for a distorted sound). I play on a sound system so no modeling amp, so the sound of my guitar is pure, which is not necessarily good, but with this guitar, the sound is nikel, if I took a big distortion, I get sound greasy, perfect for large very heavy riff, and just ke I change position of microphones to switch to the less fat for solo where it is often of severe acute (because of the sweep in particular) and the guitar is still very accurate.

OVERALL OPINION

This guitar is really made for metalheads who loves big sound mixed with the technique. I have given in D and the settings were so simple to do with any scratches that pocède a floyd is a pain to deal with. Increasingly, the floyd is very flexible and does jamaix goes wrong even if we sacked it like crazy. notes do not sting the nose, it lasts longer. In short, this guitar is fabulous
