Applied Acoustics Systems launched Strum GS-2 update last March (see this news), but the plug-in only featured acoustic and classical guitars, while the electric models were expected in a future update. This new version is now available.
Strum GS-2 is based on the modeling of different guitar parts (strings, bridge, soundboard, pickups) as well as amps and cabinets. The VST, AU, RTAS and AAX plug-in for Mac OS X and Windows includes new features such as chord recognition and voicing, a collection of MIDI lops, an EQ, a compressor, a multi-effect processor, improved synthesis and strumming engines, 64-bit operation and a new electric and acoustic guitar sound library.
Strum GS-2 Acoustic & Electric Guitars is available for the introductory price of $149 instead of $199 until June 30th. Owners of Strum Acoustic GS-1, Strum Electric GS-1 and Strum Acoustic Session benefit from an upgrade offer starting from $29 during this introductory period. More info at www.applied-acoustics.com.
