Slide Acoustic for Kontakt features approximately 3GB of 24-bit / 48kHz samples of a steel-stringed acoustic guitar played in slide, with three dynamic layers and 2 round robins.
The sampling is chromatic and the guitar is tuned in Open D. Orange Tree Samples replaced the articulations samples with a dynamic slide engine which models slide nuances, including noises of the slide on the strings. The library also features a vibrato that uses an LFO.
Slide Acoustic requires the full version of Kontakt 4 or 5. Its price is $89 but if you participate in the Group Buy organized by OTS until October 16th, you can get it at half price. More than 250 participants have already joined to the prices are now cut by two and if more people join the operation, they can also receive free sound libraries.
