Indie Drums: Phat Boy is a 1.1 GB (.ncw compressed format) library featuring the samples of a hybrid lower-tuned drum kit with raw sound for folk, rock, funky and even industrial/electronica music. The drums were recorded with multiple round robins and up to 22 velocity layers, then sampled with a 24-bit/44.1 kHz resolution.
Dream Audio offers three distinct mixes of this kit: Flat will give you the opportunity to apply your own processing ; Phat reinforces the low-end for a fatter sound and Saturated has an overdriven sound for grunge and industrial productions.
For each mix, you get three mic positions (Close, Overhead and Room) that can be combined and adjusted and you’ll find a collection of cymbal swells as a bonus.
