« Confusing »

LinPlug RMV is a VST plug in that took me more time than expected to understand. The interface was very overwhelming at first because of all of the options and knobs and it just seems like everything is right in front of you at the same time. After I spent countless hours understanding and reading through the PDF manual (which was very helpful) I finally felt like I had a better understanding of working with this plug in.

SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE

It didn’t take long to install and it does not use much CPU so I was able to run multiple instances of it at the same time. There are 6 different audio loop modules and each of them can have up to 64 slices and each pad can have its own controls for pan and volume.

OVERALL OPINION

This drum sampler and synth is not easy to work with there for I do not recommend it unless you have a really good understanding already of how these types of synths and drum samplers work. It is nothing like I have worked with before. Some of the effects are very good like bit crusher or distortion and even working with the EQ was simple.
Each pad can have its own controls and filters, saving everything will help for working with it again at another time. The only issue is, figuring everything out for the first time was very overwhelming to me and I do not recommend working with this plug in for that matter.
You can run this VST on a Mac or a PC as long as you have at least 8 GB of free space and 1 GB of RAM. I used it in FL Studio, Cubase and even Logic before but mainly in FL Studio. The price is right around 150 bucks which does not seem like a lot but to me it is for something that was very confusing.
