MegaMacho features 2000 drum samples created via complex sound tweaking and layering (up to 8 layers). 34 drum kits are available, each with 7 kicks, 8 snares and 61 samples mapped to the MIDI keyboard. Plus, 100 Instruments use these 34 drum kits with various effects and processors.
MegaMacho also includes 100 MIDI grooves for use in many different styles (dubstep, waltz, EDM, pop…). The instruments are mapped using the hybrid General MIDI system employed on the Korg Kronos and Kross workstations.
PlugInGuru adds that the MIDI groove library will be expanded in the future with free updates (300 are expected in total).
The custom GUI in Kontakt gives you access to high-pass and low-pass filters, 9 effects, pitch, filter and amplitude filter generators, EQ and more.
