Introduced last January at NAMM, the Behringer X32 Compact is a 40-channel digital mixer with a more compact footprint than its X32 standard sibling. It is designed to be installed in small to medium venues, mobile studios and broadcast trucks for example.
The mixer offers 16 XLR inputs/preamps, 8 XLR outputs, 6 auxiliary inputs and outputs, and an Ultranet port to send 16 audio channels to the Behringer P16 personal monitoring system (via CAT5e cable). The console is also compatible with the S16 digital Stage Box for a total of 25 busses.
The X32 Compact features a stereo effect engine, 2-channel USB recorder and a 32 × 32-channel USB audio interface. It ships with the Tracktion 4 DAW.
US price of the X32 is $2499.99. Visit www.behringer.com for full details.
