IK Multimedia has introduces an iPhone and iPad app version of AmpliTube Mesa/Boogie.

This app is announced as giving users a full-featured MESA/Boogie guitar or bass rig in the palm of their hands, with a total five different amplifiers (including Mark III, Mark IV, Dual Rectifier, Triple Rectifier and TransAtlantic TA-30) with matching cabinets ranging from 1×12 to 4×12. In addition, 6 stompboxes created by the IK team exclusively for this app are also included (namely the Monster Booster, Obsession, Surfer, Sustainer, Metal Wah and Noise Filter pedals). With additional comprehensive editing and recording capabilites, AmpliTube MESA/Boogie aims at allowing practicing, jamming and recording in all circumstances.

IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube Mesa/Boogie app is available from the Appstore for $24.99, but AmpliTube for iPhone or iPad desiring to add all of the components of AmpliTube MESA/Boogie into it are advised NOT to purchase the AmpliTube MESA/Boogie app, but instead add the AmpliTube MESA/Boogie amps and effects all together or single a-la-carte gear directly in AmpliTube through in-app purchase.
