Knobster has released Plastic Piano, a simple synthesizer / electric piano emulator.
It has the characteristic of a “plastic” sound. Especially good for “lo-fi” and “cheap-tone” music.
More than 150 grams of plasticine was used in the production of the synthesizer so knobster recommends you wash your hands with warm water and soap after playing it.
Main features:
- 2x oscillators with three wave types.
- LP-filter for each oscillator.
- Velocity sensitivity.
- ADSR-envelope.
- “Magic button.”

Plastic Piano is free and is available for Windows as a VST instrument plug-in.
