Excellent
Nobody has given an opinion on Rhino 2 Big Tick from home. So I will fill this gap because I find this software particularly interesting.
No installation problems.
The manual is clear and sufficient (in English only ...)
SUITABILITY/PERFORMANCE
I use it on an AMD XP 2600, 768 MB of RAM.
It is stable, it works well.
OVERALL OPINION
I use it for 2 months.
6 oscillators, 130 waveforms basic additive synthesis, FM, Ring modulation, Waveshaper, modulation matrix, step sequencer, 17 built-in effects (including the effect cheeze machine for those who know the freeware of the same name ... ) there are short enough to do! There is also a library for storing the patches ranked as one wants, it's very convenient.
Usage is easy:
Is the parameter to change is basic (such as volume, for example) and it is managed with a slider, or the parameter is complex and it is managed with multi-segment envelopes graphics and is very visual, it is clear that we did!
The design is a synth that can fall into the category of "innovative" as well as Absynth, Zeta, Sytrus, Wusikstation.
I have also tried all but to me, or are sold at a price other, Rhino 2 is the best quality / price ratio. (Wusukstation is in the same price range but there is something in the sounds produced by it that m'entousiasme not ...).
The palette of sound is very rich Rhino 2: From the big sounds, changing sounds, sound acids, metal, soft, air, in short, there are all kinds, and I would definitely do it again this choice even today ' hui.
