Rob Papen has finally released the second version of his long-awaited Blue II virtual synth that had been introduced at NAMM in January.
Blue II includes many new features and presets. You’ll find in the plug-in six oscillators, two modeled stereo filters with 27 types of filters, a sequencer, an arpeggiator, multiple processing and modulation options. If you’re familiar with Blade, you’ll find in Blue II the same XY pad, and an effect section offers no less that four processors, each with 35 types of effects.
Rob Papen also included a selection of sample-based waveforms.
Blue is available on Mac OS X and Windows in VST, AU and AAX 32 and 64-bit formats. Its price is 149€ / $179 but if you already own Blue I, you can get an upgrade for 44€ / $49. More info at www.robpapen.com.
