VST Zone starts the year well with Eclipsis, its new VST synthesizer instrument that blends wavetable with subtractive synthesis.

On the menu:

  • 32-voice polyphony
  • Wavetable synthesis
  • 3 oscillators, each with its own subtractive and frequency modulation, routing, detune, phase offset, scope, ADSR, 1-pole low-pass filter, pan and amplitude controls
  • 118 waveforms and three additional “tools” that extend the number of forms to 1888
  • Frequency modulation with choice of input source (frequency, pitch and velocity), detune, waveshaper, scope, 1-pole low-pass filter and ampiltude
  • Subtractive modulation with 17 types of filters, cutoff modulation from frequency, pitch or velocity, detune, waveshaper, ADSR, scope, 1-pole low-pass filter and amplitude
  • Modulation matrix with 9 sources and 39 destinations, amplitude controls
  • 6 LFOs
  • 2 effect racks, each with reverb, chorus/flanger and host-syncable delay
  • Arpeggiator/gate with 8 targets, adjustable step number between 4 and 32, frequency control, divider, playback control (forward, forward and hold, backward, backward and hold, ping pong / forward-backward), randomize
  • Main amplitude control
