I have used AudioSonic Digi Drum Pro a few times, though I do not own it anymore on my computers I still use it on a friends. There are a lot of options and control you have when using DigiDrum. Actually it was a little too much for me, I needed it to be watered down a bit before I would buy it. The interface seems to have a hundred knobs on it that’s what turned me off right way. I like everything with my drumming to be simple and plain and if I want to go into depth with it more than I can. With Audio sonic Digi Drum it just didn’t seem like you had the option to make it simple. It was going to be in depth whether you liked it or not.
Installing it was pretty easy, it didn’t take a long time and didn’t have any problems running it on my pc. The good thing about this software is that it is free, I don’t know what anyone would want to buy something that’s this difficult to use the basic functions of it. I didn’t keep it on my computer very long because I knew I would never use it again. But I do mess around with it sometimes on a friends computer because he actually loves this plug in.
Overall, it is free so you can download it and keep it or try it out and delete it if you don’t like it. It is better than some other virtual percussions out there but its nothing like the good ones that cost a few hundred dollars (go figure). If you are looking for a good virtual drum than invest the money and get a good plug in . Don’t waste your time messing around with this one. You will delete this pretty quick , but it doesn’t matter because its free!
